Social media will put some people behind jail for the rest of their lives. You can only tweet something like this with someone's school and name only when you have a concrete evidence. She was able to put the lecturer's name to the whole world but refused to mention 'her friend's' name. Who does that?!
It seems that your sense is gradually coming back. A student that failed a lecturer's course can decide to get back at him/her by calling out the person wrongly and laying accusations of sex4grades. Let's not allow emotions becloud our sense of reasoning. I can remember you urging people to name and shame. |

AccidentalGenius:Your logic didn't cut it. The teacher wrote on the board, while the student copied the question inside the exercise book and also provided the answer |

Scarcity? But marriages do happen every Saturday. |
deco22:he absconded. |
It's quite a pity. Her mum was sobbing, "Chibuzo, o kwa gi kwesiri ikpo puta m n'ubiam". Learnt the tipper driver escaped. Learnt her suitor had collected marriage list from her kindred and traditional marriage date is being mooted. Also learnt that she was buried yesterday. This life. /-: |

This reeks more of a setup and media trial championed by some Alumni of the school. Most of what I saw on their chat were accusations and counter-accusations among the commentators all riddled with grammatical errors. Some of the alumni even made posts convincing other alumni to rally round their character assassination cause and equally suggesting that sacking the said Chinedu means an opportunity to employ one of them. Some were claiming the man made them spend extra years, but somehow along the line, a disconnect is clearly glaring: most accusers were shying away from convincing the audience that they wrote well in the exam and the man failed them. One Chinyere Chike was just drawing sympathy on how the man made her face panel (for exam malpractice?) and gave her carryover and her baby got infected with disease from Ebonyi. . .well, I'll call her a sympathy begger. What if she didn't write anything meaningful and just want the man to pass her? Imagine the arrogance in asking fellow alumni and students whether they want the man sacked or not. I made little investigation and found out that one Nolly Lee has so much hatred against this man that he carried the case like Gala and LaCasera, dug up the only two pictures the man has on his facebook page and keep on circulating it and tagging all gossip blogs in an obnoxious manner. He is even claiming that EBSU just sacked him which is not even true and sensible to any sane man. A panel has been set up to investigate the veracity of the claims and since the school is part of ASUU strike, all such meetings is on pause mode. Also, another user from EBSU equally pointed out that the man hasn't been sacked and that the panel hasn't concluded their work. I'm not holding forte for the man as I don't know him from Adam and has never been to EBSU, but the law should be allowed to take its full course. Enough of media trial and bring him down syndrome. |
