Romance › Re: Tips For Attracting Women by jacq(f): 4:56pm On Feb 06, 2009
The best way yet i have seen is this (here what happened to me in lagos last week).

Here i was not looking my best that morning ,was having pain and kinda sick
so i need to cook so i went to buy kero ,and here was this guy who notice moi cheesy and our eyes jamlock so i smiled
b4 i could say give me change to the kero seller, this guy was already behind me grin
talking wth me.

We girls/ladies always expect the guy to make the first move (even if it is a busy place) that just proves to the girl that u are a confident somebody, and u already scored points with that.

Real true love is a beautiful thing.

Real true love is the master key to life.

If you really love this girl and you are 100% sure she loves you too then u can wait for her,but think very well if her parents married her off to this other old man will they approve of ur relationship with her ? (that is the real question u should be asking urselfs).

Will she disregards her parents to marry you ?

Wishing all the best.
Romance › Re: My Ex Is Getting Married And It Hurts by jacq(f): 4:42pm On Feb 06, 2009
@ OP , in my book you are not a weak or stupid man,but a good man who loved a woman bicos you thought she loved you the same way u did her.Forget about the past and move on,she was not the one God destined you with, your real  wife is coming along very soon  (that is if u haven't meet her yet).Look closely there are some beautiful, goegous, hard working, good women both in europe and nigeria who are looking for your kind of men to settle down with.

So go back into the dating game and let her go.
Romance › Re: Y Is It hard To Find a decent girl In Nigeria When U Return There From Abroad? by jacq(f): 4:28pm On Feb 06, 2009
@ OP it is not that there are no decent boys or girls to date when u land naija, there are plenty to chose from (speaking from my experience) but you have to stay in one place for atleast 3weeks before pple we start seeing u around the block and b4 u know it you have gotten more friends in those 3weeks than u would have in a whole 7yrs in europe.

Just be yourself next time u are in naija ,don't over hype it that u just jand most pple hate it bicos they will think u think u re better off than them, just mellow down.

Romance › Real Life by jacq(op): 10:57am On Feb 05, 2009
So is it really true what they say that there are more men than women ?or otherwise

just looking on the Lagos dating forum of this site all i see is men/boys looking for someone

atleast 20 out of those ads most be from pple who are really searching for someone ?

but can't they meet someone in real life was in Lagos last week so i can't imagine a man in lagos can not meet a good girl/woman to have a decent relationship with.

Family › Re: What Will You Do, If You Are In The Same Situation? by jacq(f): 10:14am On Nov 27, 2008
If i was in the same situation as you i would put my kids future ahead of anything else that doesn't mean u don't love their father, but think about it for a minute you are responsible now for their future u can make then have the best future you didn't ( i am not say papers = good future oh ) but with lots of hard work and persistent you will look back in a few years time and say THANK YOU LORD !. Stay put in the UK or Locate somewhere else in europe Nigeria is a nice place for those who only have connections, lots of money , houses, and cars.if u haven't got any of these in naija just forget it atleast in the UK u don't have to beg the gateman for example to let u into a goverment premise where u are supossed to be helped that is the case in naija oh !

NOUBLE:
@funkybaby
@brownbono
hi, you guys suprise me a bit with your comment most especially funkybabe, what exactly did you not understand? back in January i ask the house for advice on my relationship with my partner. a polish citizen? am an overstayer at that time with no criminal record, i made several effort to get married here in the UK but could not, i also have asked my partner to go to Nigeria before hand to prove how we met before marriage.
Some people adviced me not to go to Nigeria because it may be difficult to pass trough the airport and adviced me to go to COE. SOME SAID I ONLY HAVE ONE OPTION, TO GO BACK AS ITS MORE DIFFICULT TO GET MARRIED AT THE COE NOW. i can't remember what your advice was at that time but its definitely one of both.
i made attempts of getting married at the COE but its a complete story, they actually ask for my legal status and told me to go to the HO AND APPLY FOR A RIGHT TO STAY BEFORE I CAN GET MARRIED IN CHURCH. In this case i was left with one option. GO BACK HOME. I dint have a passport as it was stolen sometimes. i went to the high commission and i was told to get a police report. i dint want to do this for a reason all of you understand. i have my fake passport i have been using for work for over 6 years and after seeking advice, i was told they don't check you if you are going out. the mistake i made was that, all the people that adviced me have original passport so i should not be asking them.
OK, i went and was arrested by a Nigerian woman as she claimed. i was imprisoned and my partner gave birth while in prison. after serving my time i was serve with intention to make deportation order and i appealed against it. i appled for bail and was granted.
i have since then been living with same partner who stand as my surety. although pregnant, sh visits me every week throughout my time in jail.
I have recently being told that the deportation order is on hold for a reason the case worker can not explain, so things are looking good
in regards to her leaving me, although woman can not be trusted (NO OFFENCE FUNKYBABY AND ALL WOMAN) I CAN SAY THAT I TRUST HER, SHE STOOD BY ME WHILE IN PRISON AND HAS DONE ALL SHE COULD. EVEN IF SHE LEAVES NOW, I CAN NOT BLAME HER. SHE HAS DONE WELL. Moreover i will not be fighting deportation if not for my daughter and the love i have for my partner. i will go back to Nigeria today if she said its over and i will be just fine. i can not continue staying here illegal even if i don't have her, its totally a waste of time, precious time. i just have to do what is good for my child so she can have both parent raising her.

In regards to inquiring about poland, i am a man that is always ready for the worst. just in-case they said they have to deport me. i will go to poland and after three years i will gain my citizenship and if i still want, i will come back to UK.

IN THE MEAN TIME, ANY ONE LIVING IN POLAND, PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE.

REGARDS
I haven't read your topic back in january before, just saw this topic now
and i must it that you are a brave man for not giving up hope .
Are you in the Uk now or in Nigeria ? maybe u should have gone to the Nigeria embassy to get an ETC,that is whjat i did a few years ago.

It is not easy i know what you going through ,you see i have this senior bro he asked for 100knaira to start a bizzness begin this year i gave him my first month loan this year to do start the bizzness and ever since he don't bother me and me i don't ask what you did with the money (bicos i just know say money grow k -leg ) did i help him or not i did what i could for him it is up to him to make the best out of it.

Then i get this second bro, he is a tailor with his own store and 2 kids, i sent him a car to use and make some money out of it but still i get calls say food no dey house and naija no easy en all dat.

so that is how most people try to help family and still dey will still keep asking for more and more,
bicos dey think you have a money growing tree in ur back yard.
