Globacom gained over 2.9 million internet subscribers in the month of March, according to the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) recently released industry stats.
The total number of GSM internet subscribers stood at 136,203,231 in March, indicating an increase of about 4 million from amount of subscribers recorded in February.
While Globacom was the highest gainers, MTN gained 794,020 new subscribers raising the total amount of its subscribers to 57,282,123. Airtel also gained 654,549 new subscribers to reach 36,827,677.

Visafone subscribers remained unchanged from 88,818 subscribers recorded in February. 9mobile was the only loser as the telecom operator continued its string of losses dropping another 181,973 subscribers in March. 9mobile Subscribers now stands at 7,762,068.

However, 9mobile retained is crown as the most favourable network for porters as 8,225 users joined the network from other operators. Airtel follows with about 5,594 incoming subscribers, while MTN and Globacom added 1,965 and 262 respectively.

On the other end, Airtel led the chart of outgoing subscribers, about 6,466 subscribers left the mobile operator in March. Globacom follows with 3,748 subscribers lost while MTN also lost 3,701 subscribers. 9mobile was the least with just 1,756 lost subscribers.

Market leader, MTN with 73,573,788 subscribers contributed 38.93% of the total number of subscribers in the country. Globacom with 51,856,114 followed with about 27.44% while Airtel with 51,298,878 and 9mobile with 12,123,1185 comes behind with 27.14% and 6.41% respectively. Visafone with 137,086 subscribers had just 0.07%.

Bandwith Penetration
Broadband penetration in the country rose to 39.90% in March, gaining 0.53% in a month. The number of 3G and 4G subscribers rose to 76,163,674 from the 75,555,604 subscribers in February.

In summary, mobile (GSM) operators accounted for 99.84% of the subscriber base in Nigeria. Fixed (Wireless/Wired) had about 0.06% while VoIP which includes Smile accounted for just 0.10%.

Am I really the only one that enjoyed this lockdown? Cos really, Lagos(where I reside) is a stressful state, God! I needed this rest abeg.

But while I was hibernating in my cave, I had the time to do a lot of things I'll list below:

1) I had enough time to reflect alot about my life (Man don de old o lol) , I also enjoyed the peace I was having being alone and thought alot about various scalable ideas that could sell Post-Covid, well currently fine tuning one, na Angel Investor remain. While at nights, I take a stroll to clear my head.

2) I stated a course in Marketing Analytics with Coursera and thank God I finished this time . Trust me, virtual schooling can be hard cos you'll need to deal with lots of distractions.

3) Finally, the major icing on the cake is finding a new way of making money from Airtel through there Airtel Xpress Recharge. It's so easy that you just need to dial *432# to get started. Atleast it took care of my data and some of my upkeep at home since my place of work decided to slash my pay . We go survive las las.

Hello Guys, Happy Quarantine o .

I won't bore you with long talk but this is my love story. I dated this girl when I was serving in Cross River, very beautiful, smart and I loved her so dearly even though las las I messed up and she also messed up too. We've broken up since 2017 but for some reasons I've not gotten over her(maybe cos I don't have a gf I'll love as much as I loved her) and she got my replacement immediately after we ended. Now she chats me up like we never had anything between us, like we were just one ordinary friend from way back. Recently like that when we were chatting, I confessed to her that I've still not gotten over her, then she asked me if I cheated on her while we dated then I confessed to it and I apologised for being stupid, but she tortured me emotionally during our breakup that I thought of hurting myself and doubting my self worth, in the course of our chat I then asked her if she's dating someone cos I really would want her back but she said she is in a relationship.

My problem is that why is she chatting me up like we never had anything together?? When I post a story on whatsapp, she comment on it like a normal friend would, no iota of emotion in any of her response or anything cos I still feel some hurt in me. Is she disrespecting me d my feelings despite I've told her I've not still gotten over her and how I thought of hurting myself during our breakup?? How do I put an end to this rubbish cos it's becoming annoying when I see her 'I no send' kinda response?? Cos I think confessing my feelings to her again will make me look like a fck Boy.
