Olurogun Oskar Ibru haslost his closest confidant, Senator Felix just two months after celebrating a superlative 80th birthday in January, 2016. Inside source squealed to us that Felix died on his way to the hospital on Saturday, March, 12, 2016 enroute Eko hospital, Ikeja, Lagos. The source revealed to us that the deceased was at home in his residence at Ikeja with his cook and driver at exactly 10:18am and was playing games with them when he complained of cold and weakness of his body. We reliably gathered that the entire Ibru’s dynasty have been thrown into mourning due to his demise. His son, Otu and other family members wept uncontrollab;y and are yet to get over the shock.


Felix Ovudoroye Ibru (7 December 1935 – 12 March 2016) was a Nigerian architect, Senator and the First democratically elected Governor of Delta State. Until his death he held the position of President General of the Urhobo Progressive Union (UPU). As a traditional chieftain of his homeland, Ibru bore the tribal honorific Olorogun and often used it as a pre-nominal style. This title is also borne by many of the members of his large family in the same way.
Background
Ibru was born on 7 December 1935 at Agbarha-Otor in the Ughelli North local government area of Delta State to Chief Peter Epete Ibru and Chief (Mrs). Janet Omotogor Ibru, the second of seven children. His brother Michael Ibru is the founder of the Ibru Organization, a major conglomerate. He was educated at Yaba Methodist School, and later Igbobi College where he was Head Boy in 1955. He won the Elder Dempster Lines Scholarship to travel to the United Kingdom. After his secondary school education at Igbobi College, Ibru proceeded to the Nottingham School of Architecture in England where he qualified as an architect in 1962.
While a student in Nottingham, he was elected the first Black President of the British Council with responsibility for Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire. As a result, he was presented to Queen Elizabeth II and his Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh at a ceremony in Buckingham Palace in 1960.[citation needed] Shortly after his qualification as an architect in 1962, he worked briefly with the Jewish Agency SOCHNUT, on various projects relating to farm settlements (kibbutzim and moshavim) and prefabricated buildings in Jerusalem and Haifa. He later enrolled at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology for post-graduate studies and qualified with an MSc (Arch) in 1963. He returned to Nigeria at the end of that year and took up an appointment with the Federal Ministry of Education as the first resident Lecturer in Architecture at the Yaba College of Technology.

As one of the two principal partners of the firm, Chief Ibru was involved in the design and supervision of more than 40 projects across the country. They include: University of Lagos Sports Centre, Oguta Lake Resort, The Diette-Spiff Civic Centre, Port Harcourt, Office extension for Elf Nig. Ltd. As consultant to Ibru Prefabs Limited he was responsible for the design and supervision of several Geodesic Domes of various dimensions in many parts of the country. In 1971, under the auspices of the United Nations, he was invited to Tokyo, Japan as a member of a panel on foreign investment. In 1974, he delivered a lecture at the Harvard Business School, in the United States on Multinationals. It was titled, Emerging Role Of The African Entrepreneur In The Economy And Its Relationship With Multinational Corporations:Competition,Partnership,Cooperation and Absorption.
Political career
His political activities began in 1983 when he unsuccessfully contested for a seat in the Senate.[citation needed] He ran for the Governorship of Delta State in 1991 and emerged as the First Executive Governor of the newly created Delta State in 1992.[citation needed]

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has invited the Managing Director of Skye Bank, Timothy Oguntayo, over the bank’s alleged refusal to remit N6.3 billion to government’s Treasury Single Account.

The anti-graft body also invited the bank’s chief compliance officer following the bank’s alleged failure to adhere to government’s directive on the movement of funds to TSA in money deposit banks.

Sources at the EFCC said that the two top executive officers were invited when it was found that government funds were still being concealed in two separate accounts in the bank.

The money belonged to the defunct Presidential Implementation Committee on the Alienation of the Federal Government Landed Property.

The authorities of the bank were said to have overlooked the huge deposits in its TSA compliance arrangement despite the accounts being dormant since 2011.

The amiable clergy and General Overseer of Champions Royal Assembly during the 9th anniversary celebration of the ministry inside their world record 80,000 seater capacity international headquarters known as City of Wonders, Kubwa, Abuja, gave the prophetic warning. According to him, They should treat the Biafra issue with wisdom because he saw a young lion developing into a big lion that can devour and turn the economy of the country upside down.

“Government should tread with caution over the issue of Biafra. I saw a young lion developing into a big lion. This might snowball into something bigger than Boko Haram and might affect the economy of this country”

It was an awesome Ministers conference at City of Wonders when a Baby girl was delivered by a female participant within five minutes. While Bro. Joshua iginla was ministering on power demonstration at the ministers conference widely known as Fire in My Bone season 4, she went into labour and within five minutes the baby girl was born.

Being the first miracle baby at the city of wonders, Bro. Iginla named her Esther immediately and declared that he is giving the new baby girl a scholarship to university level.

Meanwhile, it was testimony galore and power demonstration as thousands of pastors converged for the conference. Many confessed that they had folded their ministries due to stagnation but when they came in contact with the humble clergy, they were restored and ministry experienced speedy growth.

Several others testified that they experienced supernatural visitations through the telecast of the man of God via Champions television.

The high point of the conference was when he impacted some pastors who began to demonstrate power through the laying of hands on people with instant results.

Ahead of 9th anniversary of Champions Royal Assembly, Bro. Joshua Iginla’s 80,000 seater auditoriums has been roofed. The multi-billion naira project is already roofed and only a visit to the ultramodern edifice can help one to grasp the extent of aesthetic wonders displayed over there and chunks of billions sunk inside the vast empire.
Sitting on several hectares of land, the auditorium is a massive entity. It’s like a four giant storey edifice with five detached elongated angles entangled to a singular auditorium. Each of the gallery sits thousands of worshippers while each detached angles is a massive auditorium on its own.
The roof of each compartments is like the Jewish temple which speaks of wonders. A visit to the clergy’s office at the city of wonders revealed that its also a four floor edifice which strictly his office. When completed it will house his studio, computer room, control room, reception amongst others and has its own personal lift.

We reliably gathered that the ministry will hold its Fire In My Bones programme there on Saturday, December 5th, 2915. Its a Ministers and leadership conference.

Then, the 9th anniversary of the ministry will also hold there on Sunday, December 6th, 2015, tagged Supernatural Wonders



The international headquarters of the ministry called Champions City of Wonders sited at Chikakore, Kubwa, Abuja is arguably a record breaking 80,000 capacity auditorium which is arguably the biggest in the world when completed. It sits on hectares of land with 350 toilets and four floors. Surprisingly, the world class ultra modern auditorium has 12 escalators, nine electronically operated elevators and three hectares of car park.

General overseer of Champions Royal Assembly, Prophet Joshua Iginla is no doubt the most cheerful and magnanimous prophet of the century and also a true leader.

For the past two months, He has been fasting and praying for his colleagues in the ministry and He also called for a special programme just to pray for God’s Generals in Nigeria.

In the programme, He led the congregation that they should pray for General overseers of Big churches in Nigeria.

The first Person he mentioned was Genera overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, He prayed for his ministry and also for the preservation of his life and also for the preservation of his ministry, after which He led same prayer point for Founder of Living Faith Church AKA Winners chapel , General overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church, Rev. W.F Kumuyi, General overseer of Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries , Dr. D.K Odukoya, President of Christian Association of Nigeria, Ayo Oritsejafor, Founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Suleman and Founder of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), Pro. T.B Joshua.

Talking about Prophet T.B Joshua, He asked his members to pray to God for the preservation of his life and ministry in the phase he is passing through. He also urged his members to fast and pray for the General Overseers as he himself is doing.

He said the lord showed him in a vision that he should pray the preservation of their lives.

Meanwhile, Prophet Iginla is set to celebrate the 9th anniversary of Champions Royal assembly which comes on on the 6th of December, 2015
