naptu2: Lawyers for a Nigerian man who's been on hunger strike have confirmed that he's back in Britain after Home Office attempts to remove him failed. Isa Muazu, who had an asylum claim turned down, was put on a flight to Nigeria on Friday - but it never got there.

The privately chartered jet was in the air for a number of hours but never landed at its destination. It's believed the NigerIan authorities didn't give the pilot landing rights - but it's unclear why that happened.
