Validated: If you have a good certification, still in your thirties or below 40, or even early forties, you are able to save up to N10m and have a child or two children and not a political actor or a clergy of a big church, may I ask, "What are you still waiting for"?
You see, 7 months ago, your N10m was about $22K. Now, it is only about $8590. However bad, it could still take you to UK, atleast. Then you can begin sorting your life. Even if you have a business, it will be eroded soon. What the likes of GSK, P&G, Unilever, Suntory, etc are saw or are seeing and moving should give you signal that this train is headed to a total anarchy.
Even if you do not love yourself, for the sake of your family, move. There is no hope in the foreseeable horizon. I am not a doomsday prophet, but if you understand the times, you know that things are going to get worse.
10 years ago, I called a friend and advised him to come over to Canada. He said he is not going to another man's country to "slave". He would rather come and visit and enjoy holidays. Funny enough his subordinate took the initiative. His (surbordinate) wife got a scholarship and in two years he relocated and he and his family now lives big in Ontario.
Fastforward to 2023, my friend is now in his early-50s, he has lost his job, his tottering business is now almost moribund. No thanks to Tinubu's economic janglova. Now, he is asking me to help him and his family relocate. 4 adults (Him, his wife and 2 children). How?
My reply may be brutal abd unfair, "Bro, you are 10 years late". He is now franticky looking towards the UK, looking for buyers of his inheritance, but the Tories are locking the gate on Dec 31, 2023. Not sure if he can still make it across.
My advice, if you can leave this sinking ship, please do ASAP. Today, it is armed robbery and kidnapping. In few years, a reminisce of the 1000000 boys will resurface.
Someone is going to come here to preach that it is not rosy out there. Yes, at first it will be rough. With time you will get along, learn the system, culture, then boom, you will just know you made a bold move. Nigeria is not getting better soon. Atleast, not with the huge debts and dwindling revenues that is over 50% channelled to debt servicing. Not with over 45% budget deficits to be financed on loans. Not with low purchasing power of the populace. Not with this "owambe" government. Not when our oil production is already swapped for loans for next 5 years and steeply declining productivity.
No, not with a Tinubu that does not understand productivity. Everybody is not interested in ur japa f00Iishness, this is what u all should understand. |

I am not d kind of person dat because I dey eat from d govt and I will not say d truth. Concerning d light issue, u dont know my location so u cant defend this govt on this aspect. During Buhari it was poor but now it is worst. Do u want to tell me things have improved since tinubu came in? I asked u. To my understanding, I expected better thing from his govt b4 he came in. But I want to to argue with facts. Mention one or two things dat have improved since he came in. Stop taking me back to d previous govt. I am non of their fan. Tinubu promised us things will get better when he get there. But it is worse at d moment and u are here telling me i should not condemn his govt. I am not ibo or hausa. I am yoruba man. Go out and see how people are suffering. Go to d hospital to see people dying due to poor medical facilities and costly medical drugs. U dey in your convenient position and u don't care. Is dat exposure? There is nothing concern me with d previous govt again. Tinubu believes he can change things around dat is why he wanted to be there. Now he is there and things don worse and u are here telling me what I know.Belleful man will never know there are some people somewhere going starving. I cañ't remember telling u nót to "condemn" the government, I didn't tell u that. Light in ur place got wórsé, it got better in so many many places, ur DisCo is the probIem not Tinubu. Medical facilities didn't become bàd since May, did they? Like I told u, no educated individual regrets being educated unless u went to school without education. I doñ't care about ur tribe. The fact that Tinubu is ur tribesman doesn't mean we should cIap for u because u are angry. Things are more expensive solely because of fuel subsidy removal and floating the naira. This is same thing every candidate who had a chance at winning told u they were coming to do. U clapped for them, u all clapped for them. Because it's not the candidate of ur choice, those things are bad now? Or u were thinking that subsidy removed will bring down d price of fuel and other commodities? |

Bobopelu: Pls I believe if Nigerian government is ready for the price to come down it will come down since it’s still the same Nigerian government that help in funding dangote refinery there should be an agreement on how much he will sell locally and how much he will sell internationally to make his gain not that with the money of Nigerians lend to him we will still be the one to help him pay back it’s unfair We all want cheaper prices, trust me we do. What the guy is saying is what I am countering. We even suggested prices may not be cheaper but we want to produce it on our own and let employment be for us. |

Gainman: I see u are part of them. You are part of deceptive govt. Believe in this govt at our own risk. How many of dos struggling only you can assist. Only 0.5%? U never do anything. If u are among of d people praising this govt despite it's performing woefully in every aspect. Electricity has become very poor, investors are exiting this country, insecurity, inflation everywhere high cost of medical facilities, corruption and indiscipline among all govt officials. Corrupt judiciary, many are committing suicide and killing for ritual. And u are here saying u alone is trying to assist people. Tinubu has failed already. He doesn't have any governing plan he only wants to be in power by all means. I don't regret I supported him because all other candidates are zero. A country where criminals are being celebrated. A country where educated are regretting they went to school nothing to be proud of. Tinubu and his govt dissapointed most his supporters. First and foremost, no educated individual regrets going to school, having a certificate u copied to get doesn't make u educated, education is meant to expand ur horizon, passing through school doesn't make u educated, it simply makes u a schooled iIIitrate. Electricity became wórsé in the last 6 months? Now I know u are not a sincere individual, just another one sucking on their loss. To say security became worse is another pointer to ur insincere nature. Tell me which of the above vices has not been happening in Nigèria all these while? Isaac Boro wanted to pull out of Nîgerià because of the ópprèssion his people faced under the old Eastern region and due to regional góvèrñment, getting freedom from the top was hard. SS and SE were carved to free SS from ópprèssion of lgb0s. SS as people are more advanced than lgb0s, the difference between lgb0s and the tribes that make up the SS is number but lgb0s want to lord the people who built empires when lgb0s were hîdîng in hamIets and viIIages at the mercy of acute hûñger exchanging pepper for dried cassava just to survive. |

Kepukepu: Some people call it "Stockholm syndrome voters" or "loyal opposition". They're referring to the psychological phenomenon where someone develops a positive attachment to the person who is abusing or exploiting them. It can be difficult to understand why someone would continue to defend a bad leader, but it's important to remember that people are complex and can have a variety of motivations for their actions.
It does seem crazy at first glance, but there are actually a lot of complex psychological factors that can lead to someone supporting a bad leader. For example, it could be a result of cognitive dissonance (the discomfort people feel when their beliefs or behaviors are inconsistent with each other), or the sunk-cost fallacy (the tendency to stick with a bad decision because you've already invested a lot of time or resources into it). It's definitely an interesting phenomenon, but it's not always easy to understand.
Some people are very resistant to change even in the presence of overwhelming evidence against their beliefs. There's a concept called "confirmation bias" that explains why people tend to interpret new information in a way that confirms their existing beliefs. In other words, they'll selectively pay attention to evidence that supports their beliefs, while ignoring evidence that contradicts their beliefs. This makes it very difficult to convince someone to change their mind. In other words, there's no amount of evidence you want to give to APC supporters that would be enough for them to change their minds. You just have deal with them.
Ordinarily, the devastated state of the country would have been enough evidence to convince someone with a working brain that APC is here to render almost everyone useless.
Just relax, you will soon find them coming here to display these exact attributes as described above. This epistle is coming from someone supporting Obi? LOL. I begin to wonder if Obidents are talking about another Obi that never held a political position before or the one Anambra people cûrsèd for 8 years. The syndrome u just described is what is affecting Obidents. |
