CrimeRe: Terrorists Using PoS To Collect Ransom – FG by Jakarta: 5:31pm On Dec 24, 2025
Emeskhalifa:
Still refused to answer the question.

FG said, some persons causing insecurity in the country are using POS agents to receive their proceeds, Dear Mr Albert Einstein, what will be the suggestion you will give to stop that?
1)The FG, states, & local governments should first stop paying ransom to bandits, granting amnesty to known terrorist and drafting then back into the society or to security agencies.

Those islamic clerics and northern political leaders making suspicious comments about the fight against this bandits and terrorists should be invited for questioning and placed under strict surveillance

2)BVN and NIN were introduced for a reason.

POS agent with any of the following habits of transactions.

i)Repeated large cash-ins / cash-outs

ii) Unusual activity at odd hours,

iii)Multiple suspicious transfers from different locations to one POS agent.

Such POS agents should be flagged. After which their accounts will be temporarily restricted, invited for questioning, placed under strict surveillance without them being aware of such surveillance.

3) There should be tiered transaction limits for POS agents.
Not all POS agents should handle the same volume.
For example:
New agents == low daily limits
Verified & long-standing agents == higher limits, with strict monitoring.

Rural agents == limits based on location risk level, still with monitoring.

4) Intelligence based policing, by tracking criminal networks, not their tools. Our police and army checkpoints should do important security checks, not collect shangi and giving intel's to terrorists.

5)Employ tech related jobs on merits, not on favouritism, political, or tribal affiliations. Don't expect miracles from a ministry of information & technology whose minister doesn't knows what windows 12 is, or from a ministry of power, whose minister goes around with a power bank, and doesn't know what a volt is.

6)Lastly a mandatory IQ test should be conducted twice a month to detects folks like you early, so that the number counts of such people doesn't escalate thereby leading to even more unforseen issues, lots of others not yet listed, but will stop here for now.

If owners and admins of dark web markets like
Ross Ulbricht - Silk Road, Blake Benthall - Silk Road reloaded, Alexandre Cazes - AlphaBay, Gal Vallerius - Dream Market were all caught even though they were using tor on tails, with socks5, bridged from one cryptocurrency network to another even when cryptocurrency was at it's infant stage, how much more some rag tag terrorists, and bandits, that still uses fiat and POS at this age?

All these cannot happen due to 2 reasons
1)People like you being the majority.
2)Corruption, the worm that eats the kolanut lives inside same kolanut.

People like you will continue dragging this country backwards.

Emeskhalifa:
You that think in Milli seconds, FG has said part of the challenges they are facing Mr Albert Einstein, what will you suggest they do? I believe they threw up the problem they are encountering for suggestions sake.
I have given my own suggestion already What is your suggestion?
To start with those making such naive statements should be sacked and placed under investigation because it is obvious that they either don't know what their jobs entails, or corruption wouldn't allow them perform their duties. Also folks like you should be reoriented, and made to pass some IQ test, before being allowed to comment publicly.

But same corruption and the country being filled with people like you will not let that happen.

Sigh. Comprehension is really a huge problem in this country.

How I wish the country had fewer people that thinks like you.
CrimeRe: Terrorists Using PoS To Collect Ransom – FG by Jakarta: 11:05am On Dec 24, 2025
Emeskhalifa:
Did they say they could not trace the funds to the POS agent? They did trace the funds to pos agent only to realised that was the end point and could not go further. Like I said, lack of awareness is getting POS agents in serious problems.

The good thing is, the CBN is coming up with mandatory geotagging of all POS devices, this will help though won't solve all the problem.
My suggestion is fintech and banks should spend more resources on educating their agents on the risks involved in the business and not just about being eager to hand them terminals to start working.

Also CBN on her part should limit the amount of transfer or withdrawal that can be carried out on POS devices
Can you in in all honesty read what you wrote up there? As a POS agent a random person from no where will give my POS account details to somebody and I will receive 10m, which I will in turn give to the random person without he/she knowing anything about me and vice versa. The police will trace the funds to me and I will say I don't know the person that I gave the cash to, the police will then tell me Godbless you, go home and do your business in peace sorry for the disturb case close. If you like geotag, geofence, and georope POS to locations nothing will still come out of it no thanks to folks like you. This country is doomed with people like you being the majority.

Emeskhalifa:
You didn't read all the message, did you? Or you read all but does not have idea how the pos business works

They investigate (track the funds) only to see that the last place the funds stopped was the POS agent, he was the last man the funds got to and they didn't transfer the money from there but demanded for cash from the pos which automatically translates to dead case.

I know you will say, arreste the POS agent, he's part of them, but the truth is, majority of POS agents are ignorant, because it is the last chain of financial services, it is filled with illiterates who do not know beyond how to operate POS, No training, no educating them on anything like money laundering, terrorism money or any security safety. The moment you show interest that you want to start POS business the fintechs and banks that issue pos out are just eager to hand you their device so you can immediately start and let them start earning commission from you. No training, no orientation, nothing. And owing to the large number of pos agents scattered in the country, if a transaction comes your way and you refuse to do it, 10 to 20 agents around your vicinity will do it.

There are so many cases that pos agents out of ignorance accepted such transfers and some of these agents are languishing in police custody some even in jail and till date, they can't provide those who they gave the cash to coz they genuinely do not know them.
Stop displaying your ignorance and illiteracy publicly. First and foremost ask yourself how many POS agents can pay 10-30m at a go? What stops the government from putting such POS agents under surveillance? Because a bandit or kidnapper wouldn't pick a random POS agent and direct victims to pay such a huge amount into his/her account, knowing fully well that they can abscond with the funds. There must be a close link for such a transaction to occur. As anonymous as cryptocurrency, transactions are still being traced even after bridging from one network to another, let alone fiat that is centralised. Of what use are NIN and BVN if common fiat transfers that are centralised can not be traced, and linked to an agent?

EducationRe: How TEMU Is Dealing With Greedy Individuals by Jakarta: 10:13am On Dec 19, 2025
Greed is the most powerful tool of fraud, closely followed by urgency. With these 2 things in place the victim looses all sense of reasoning, and make descisions he/she wouldn't make on a normal day.
That's why I see copywriters as legal fraudsters, a good copywriter will build these two things in you from nothing.

Players have been on team lists and got injured warming up and got withdrawn within seconds to kickoff.
Until a player steps onto the pitch and the whistle blown he can still be withdrawn and no crime have been committed.
You have a point but remember that FIFA has its own rules for clearing a player which has nothing to do the local laws of the player's country, the Koko is no Kona Kona backdoor WC for Nigeria
