IamZod:Who am I speaking with? --this is preferable if you haven't had the caller's contact saved before. Whom I am speaking with? --this shows that you have the caller's contact saved already, but you ain't sure of the person you're speaking with at that moment on the phone because they're above one person on the call. |
Kobicove:Majority of them kill their brain with abbreviations, they're too fond of abbreviating even where not necessary. |
shadrach77:It's not nonsense sir. Besides, nowadays, English HAS BECOME the ONLY language that the world communicate with. |

I wonder the kinda operation that will be aimed at containing the Herdsmen atrocities. Meanwhile, that's still okay at least to alleviate kidnapping there. |
Nukilia:Sincerely, Obama is a curse and shame to Africa. He legalized Lesbianism and Gay but he never married a male like him. He legalized Transgender, yet, he never changed to the opposite sex. |

By Israel A. Ebije If the exchanges on social media over a statement allegedly credited to the North Korean news service is anything to go by, then it must be addressed according to its nuisance value. The twitter handle representing the news medium of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (DPRK) Has accused “Nigerians” of mocking their leader Kim Jong-Un, insisting that further attacks on their leader’s personality will attract “heavy price”. As we await the official response of the Korean Government, it is pertinent to tease out some issues, first would the DPRK be that foolish to call a sovereign state like Nigeria “impudent people” and in addition to that threaten to unleash “heavy price” on the country if we do not refrain from “mocking” their supreme leader? The twitter handle @DPRK-news is yet to make public how they arrived at a conclusive statistics that Nigerians “are mocking their exalted leader”. They are yet to let the world know the exact classification of what actually amounts to enemy action in the alleged war of words on social media. If the twitter is not officially managed by the authoritarian government of Jong-Un, then it must be managed by an individual who believe so much in the capability of his or her country delivering “heavy Price” to a country of “impudent people” like Nigerians. Interestingly, no free speech is allowed in DPRK, meaning the twitter handler must have had the blessings of authority. Regardless of who is exuding the bad energy coming from Korea, it is pertinent to intimate that it is not a good signal, especially as the country is beginning to think itself beyond its actual worth in dosage of aggression instead of wealth of humanity. Sadly, our minister of information, Alhaji lai Mohammed does not have any social media account. He is not on any cyber based conversation and may only know of this threat as a second hand information consumer otherwise he is expected to have reacted on behalf of government to address the impudence of the twitter handler over temerity of the DPRK government. The warning is awkward, barbaric and insulting. It lacks any energy of merit or basis of facts. Its only valid underscore is premised on the fact that DPRK is seeking desperately where to unleash their sting of poisonous weapon with what may appear like a worthy altercation. We may recall that North Korea has conducted six (6) nuclear tests in 2006, 2009, twice in 2016 and 2017. According to their local media, the last test of hydrogen bomb was a “perfect success”. The range of the nuclear war heads is not much of a problem as they are designed to reach destinations they are programed to go. It therefore mean they can deploy one of their bombs with terrifying result on Nigerians. The United States and DPRK relations have broken down on account of the nuclear race headed by the Jong-Un leadership. With the recent threat on Nigeria, it is clear why United Nations do not appreciate such technology to fall into the wrong hands. The tremendous power of a nuclear bomb, the temperament of its holder and the quest to be on the news is what makes the tactless comment of the DPRK news twitter more than just a passing diarrhea of the finger. For a man who was alleged to have killed his uncle, feeding him to the dogs, he was also alleged to have killed his step brother with a chemical weapon amongst so numerous allegations of extra judicial killings, it is indeed very dangerous to have rough tackles with him. If one should add his disposition to summary decision on peoples lives, and his cravings for weapon of mass destruction, it is suggestive of his inclination towards provoking the worst war of global reckoning. Kim Jong-Un can place his devious sights at any country of his choice regardless of distance. He won’t waste time building horrible bombs without having intentions to use them. Why the choice of Nigeria is what is hard to make out, but what is most important for now is to be loud enough for other superpowers to wrangle the hydra headed monster who may be stronger than estimated. This is the time for Nigerian government to investigate the authenticity of the social media warning, preparatory for Nigeria to raise alarm to alert the world of the craze of the power dazed Jong-Un. Jolar101:Soldiers have been on street even before Buhari took over. Go to any part of the country, be it North or South West, South East not excluded. I'm sure Igbo soldiers are part of soldiers deployed there, I know very well they wouldn't love to willingly touch their brothers and sisters, that's if you think those soldiers on ground are harsh because they ain't igbo soldiers. Soldiers I know will not harm you except if first harmed. |

Excuse me, Very certain you don't know the value of peace, likewise, you don't know what is called war/unrest. Go to Syria, Mali, Somalia, Libya... in fact, go to nearby Borno state or any side of the north east... you can as well ask older ones around you who experience the Nigeria Civil War then. Search online if war has any advantage at all. If after knowing about war and you still clamour for war, then, I wonder what kinda person you are. War does not being joy, it brings pain. |
maxiuc:Until Nigeria stopped being Nigeria, Nigeria remain one. Why not enjoy PEACE in peace! |
flowfury:Must you make others insult you? |
nwosu1982:If you do not die of tribal war, then nothing else can kill you again. |
maxiuc:You need to grow up and show maturity. How can you be in same country and still engage in tribal war! |
flowfury:You must desist from this tribal war by force. God will change you guys and destroy those idiotic evil beings tarnishing the names of any tribe. |
