Right from inception Seun hates forex traders. I remember when this thread started, he and his army close the thread severally until I think Kashif had to put up a case before him to allow this stand.

The Fed basically took a June FOMC rate hike off the table with yet-another dovish statement. The Fed acknowledged slower growth, removed references to higher inflation and maintained an "accommodative" stance.

Highlights of the FOMC decision on April 27, 2016:
The Federal Reserve opted to leave the Fed Funds Rate in the range of 0.25% to 0.50%, as expected by every economist polled by Bloomberg and overwhelmingly priced into markets.
The intrigue regarding the decision was whether or not the statement would contain a hint about what the Federal Reserve may do in June. Ahead of the decision, markets were pricing in a 21.6% chance of a June hike, 33.9% of a July hike and 66.1% chance of a hike in December or sooner.
• Removes reference to global events posing risks to outlook
• Labor market improved even amid signs of slower growth
• Repeats that policy stance remains accommodative
US dollar much higher on the kneejerk on the financial risks receding but I think that repeat about accommodative might be under-appreciated.

I really don't expect to see any higher close than the present hour's candle.

Careful meshpips. The pair has printed a new high today and I still speculate to see it at 164 to hold or break. Trade what you see and not what your emotion tells you

The price of commodity (mostly denominated in USD) has fallen so much from Mid-2015. Because of this, many countries that imports commodities from the US have bought massively including Nigeria, thus the inflow of dollars into the US economy.

Therefore there is high demand for dollar to buy low-price commodities before they will shoot up. This means that people who imports from the US are seeking to buy the scarce dollar. In economics, a limited supply of a good, coupled with a high demand for that good, results in a mismatch between the desired supply and demand equilibrium. In pricing theory, the scarcity principle suggests that the price for a scarce good should rise until an equilibrium is reached between supply and demand.

What can the government do when such situation arises? The best policy is to diversify the foreign exchange reserves to other major reserve currencies and keep the interest rate as low as possible because this will help bring inflation down or at a sustainable growth.

Market speculation is high and predicts that soon commodity prices will rise significantly.

Crude oil price is almost below production cost therefore, to stay afloat they need to downsize their workforce etc.
I think they need to focus on reducing salaries of managers and senior officials because Junior and contract staffs will suffer more from this development.
Some earn up to 5m a month (that's a fact).

You said well! In actual fact staff cost can be about 5% of the total cost compared to revenue.

@OP, by stopping to sell to the market women is not the best way except she can undertake the arduous task of selling to the consumers directly which may be very difficult. Since this is a new product, the best way I can she can maximize the market and make the women pay early is to introduce discount on her product i.e. maybe she can give discount of ₦250 for every ₦5,000 purchase on early payment.
