Nairaland GeneralRe: 90% Of Rape Cases Are Self-inflicted - Katsina Attorney General by JallowBah(f): 6:18pm On Nov 27, 2012
michylabo: Really unfortunate that our women are been molested by some beasts. Our ladies though can help in little ways to curtail this acts by avoiding follow follow, bling bling, provocative attires Short tight skirts that show off their legs, thighs e.t.c. How can u blindly follow up on a date on facebook or two or any other social network... Many have been molested in Foreign countries cos they gave too much info about themselves on this social networks... Our ladies can be alittle more careful though.
Bullsh*t.

No matter what a woman wear, it is NEVER her fault. A rapist don`t give a damn about your clothes, as long as you are at the right place.
Most rapes actually happens with someone the victim already know..
RomanceRe: What Can You Never Buy For Your Partner? by JallowBah(f): 6:10pm On Nov 27, 2012
I see many people say "nothing illegal", but that depends on the country, and what, for me.

But..I could never, in my life, buy him a hand-gun. A hunting-rifle, yes, but not a hand-gun.
And I could never spend much money on something I though was not needed for, as a car for 1million dollars, when you can get a new, good car for 1/10 of the price.

dominique: Its a good thing they're bending the rules a bit. Me i don't think i can live in those European countries sha.
I`m guessing that has to do with more than just the rules on who can give bloodwink
HealthRe: Would You Donate Blood? by JallowBah(f): 4:42pm On Nov 27, 2012
dominique: thats still discriminatory. Whats stoping them from crying out simple test to ascertain weather the person has malaria parasite or not? Seems these scandinavian countries still have a long way to go in racial tolerance.
Well, that is why you can do a test 6months after returning.

On the Sahara-rule: I can`t seem to find the reason as to WHY they say no when you have lived there more than 5 years. They only say "because people from certain areas are more likely, in percantage, to have certain blood-bacterias that we don`t have". And that is not about racial tolerance or not.. the insects that can sting you in many of the countries, are not living up here. Same with the food, water, etc, and bacterias in the air. It`s all different.

Before, like I said, it was even more strict.
HealthRe: Would You Donate Blood? by JallowBah(f): 1:30pm On Nov 27, 2012
masterpiecer: yeah, searching for veins with a needle in one's skin can be really painful, but some people have phobia for needles (like my gf) and when its time to pierce them, they just seem to disappear, i have long ago over come that phobia, when i was a kid i fell ill alot of time and i became use to needles and sometimes my veins pop out of my skin really visibly.

sorry abt ur hubby's ordeal
I have the same, and it is insane every time I take a blood-test. Lol. And it is not easy to control that fear either..

And thank you. Luckily, my country have free medical help. 24 hours in the hospital, and we did not have to pay anything.
HealthRe: Would You Donate Blood? by JallowBah(f): 1:13pm On Nov 27, 2012
masterpiecer: I think its a honourable thing to do, d last time i did, the lab attendant said i had alot of blood even after i had donated, and i was just wondering what i will be doing with so much blood when it could actually save someone else's life
Very true. I have given once, but one of the problems for me, is that my veins are "hiders". They have to stick the needle in and search, and search and search..the pain in..crazy. And they have to use the kid-needle as well, so to get one tube of blood from me takes about 40min, every single time.

They told me it might get better when I am a little bit older, so I might give later.

And, I do know how important it is..my husband got thiefed here in Norway, and beaten so bad that they had to give him blood for a few hours.
HealthRe: Would You Donate Blood? by JallowBah(f): 1:00pm On Nov 27, 2012
They have also taken away the one about piercings, so I can actually give blood now. Woop!
HealthRe: Would You Donate Blood? by JallowBah(f): 12:59pm On Nov 27, 2012
I know. It`s crazy..and it is and old, old law. Many countries tend to be like that; they have old laws from when they did not know better, and never seem to change them. I live in Norway.

But, edit: They have changed that one!
cheesy

It was there just two years back.

But, people who have lived more than 5years south of Sahara can not give blood, and people who have been in a country that have malaria for more than 6months. ( After 6months back home, they can do a test. )

HealthRe: Would You Donate Blood? by JallowBah(f): 11:18am On Nov 27, 2012
I can`t.

In my country, if you have piercings in your tounge, or have had s*x with an african the last 12months, you can not donate.
So, since I am married to an african, and have the piercing...

( They are trying to change the law regarding the african thing, though.. )
FamilyRe: Questions For The Ladies by JallowBah(f): 9:43am On Nov 27, 2012
jidegirl12: Well well ..... Well partially undecided like I already said , some women don't accept that and things still runs out smoothly in their homes....and culturally yes .

Of course we all have our choices too.... He's not gonna boss you around if you married a good guy.... undecided respect is reciprocal... even at work it as to be mutual or it'll be a hell hole.

Taking in a second wife? That one na serious matter o! First of...I didn't marry a Moslem ... so I don't expect that shocker ever!
If you marry a Moslem ... then I guess you've got no say on that o...WORD!

Is everything alright carefree? You dey scare me o!
Oh course the first wife have a say in it.Still, many don`t care what she says.
And it is ONLY if the man can care for the wives equally. Both with money and love.

PAGAN 9JA:
as i said before, akatas are racist. By the Gods, they are even racist against themsefs and keep using n- word in their useless rap e songs. not to mention all their pan-black , black-jesus, black egypt, blac black black movement. and then they try to pull us Africans into it! that was why i created this thread in the first place. we Africans must distance ourselves from the racist mentality of akatas and westerners.

@BahPulo, race is different and ethnic group is different.make note. .
The black movement has been of great importance to african americans. To state otherwise is ignorance.

Mrs.Chima:
Ignorance. They are doing to you the same way they are complaining Whites are doing to them. I guess two wrongs is the African way.
Yeah..but it`s "okay" because of what has happen in the past. And I agree with the last one.
Like I said; an eye for an eye will make the whole world..what now?

Mrs.Chima:
grin

You must have hurted his little feelings...naughty girl.
...buhu?smiley

BahPulo: I know right, the kind of racism I witness among black is alarming to say the least what I find annoying the most is when they try to point fingers at other ethnic groups, I mean you have to like yourself first before anyone can try liking you........ lol
Hatred creates hatred.
And that will not make the world any better for my kids.

CultureRe: Africans We Are "Not" Blacks !!!!!! We Are Tribals !!!!!!!! by JallowBah(f): 12:15am On Nov 27, 2012
Mrs.Chima:
The racist is not Jallowbah. There are racists in every creed including Africans. Even some Africans are racist against other Africans...they are no different than White and Arab racists. It is a difference to dislike a person for the things they do or say but to judge a whole is racist. I dont like Boko Haram but I wont hate/dislike Nigerians.

Understand the difference.
Still, many africans seems to think that black people can not be racist.
Why?

Lol. Nice try with trying out the gif`s, I will give you that.
The difference is that I use them on what people say, not when they ask something.

I always answer a question, guess that was too much work, Mr-knows-all-the-states of USA.
