Na wa o. If you hear the way they share billions of Naira  among themselves, you will think they are sharing pure water. Meanwhile, they will tell you that the Fed govt can not afford to pay N50k salary for civil servants.

The military remains the last resort for the existence of Nigeria. It is therefore very crucial that the government attend to their needs.

Government needs to listen and do something now. The armed forces remains the stabilizer of the existence of this country.

WHEN Prince Adetokumbo Kayode, Minister of Defence, assumed office several months ago and undertook a familiarisation visit to the Defence Headquarters in Abuja, the media asked him what he and his Minister of State, Alhaji Murtala Shehu Yar’Adua intended to do about a very frightening issue but which is being neglected by government, which is the review of the terms and conditions of service (TACOS) of officers and soldiers of the Nigerian armed forces.

The reason for this question which was also asked his predecessor, Major General Godwin Abbe (rtd), and for which no satisfactory answer was given, is the underlying crisis that is threatening to blow out sooner or latter following underground grumblings and disillusionment among a sizeable majority of the military over what is perceived as ‘slave wages’ being paid to highly trained professionals who first and foremost, are to die for the nation if the need arises.

One decided to write on this issue in view of the consequences the continued neglect or silence over this burning issue is likely to generate if steps are not taken to immediately address the impending volcano.

There have been bitter complaints over salary, allowances, be it furniture, medical, hazards allowances, etc.

Well, maybe you don't know whats going on, but i think i know alot about what is going on, why not wait to see if there's any evidence of wrong doings from Odiaero's part before you conclude, or you have something extra about him that we don't know?
There is no doubt that there was a transaction between odiaero and complainant. odiaero's failure to fulfil a promise made the complainant to spill the beans. odiaero claimed to be abroad but mistakenly called the complainant on a naija line. Don't you smell a rat here? When the complainant complained on this forum, odiaero instead of explaining what happened exploded with abuses and curses on the complainant. Will you buy that attitude even as an observer or neutral person?

Let me tell you, odiaero has skeletons in his cupboard and i pray he be exposed soonest. I'm afraid to say that his behaviour is highly suspect.

^^ why dont u leave jamace alone, he is just here to catch fun nothing else
Are you trying to cover up your mess with this statement?
Politics › Re: Ibb's Government Will Be The Best! by jamace(m): 1:02pm On Aug 26, 2010
Poster are you okay?

You are campaigning for IBB who ruled this great country for 2 tenures (8 years) and couldn't deliver? What gave you the impression he will deliver if given a third chance? Please leave IBB out of this quest for a credible leader. He is a looter and killer.

Let me just sum up that you don't want this country to grow.
Politics › Re: Is The Nigerian National Assembly Above The Law? by jamace(m): 12:52pm On Aug 26, 2010
It is now common place to witness strikes by various govt service providers these days because of the way the national assembly share our commonwealth among themselves while other service providers are told to endure hardship. This can be likened to what IBB did to Nigerians during his regime. IBB made Nigerians to believe there was economic crunch and introduced SAP, meanwhile, he was busy looting and hoarding our money in foreign banks.

Our leaders must wake up, especially the national assembly. The masses are wise and aware of what income accrue to this nation every day, week, month and year. Therefore they can not be fooled any longer.

On the whole, Nigerians are fed-up with boldface deception by the leaders that there is no money or money is not enough while they continue to loot with impunity.

Sit tight syndrome is a serious disease in Nigeria. Everybody wants to sit tight even if tenure has expired.

Let him leave the prisons and join politics so that he can ask for second term.
