Politics › Re: Igp Proposes Gsm Subscribers Bill by jamace(m): 8:35am On Mar 05, 2009
See me, see wahala. Corrupt potbellied politicians are walking in and out of his office daily, he can not arrest them. He prefers to look for riff raffs who are struggling to make ends meet. Leaving elephants to pursue rats. Something is fundamentally wrong with Nigerians, particularly the IGP. angry
Politics › Re: Yar’adua Sacks Phcn Md Over Poor Power Supply by jamace(m): 8:15am On Mar 05, 2009
TYPICAL. Look for a scapegoat to blame for your inefficiency - sack the man in charge and make it look like he is the problem. Yar'Adua is just trying to PRETEND and make us (Nigerians) feel that he is doing something.

Permit me to say something though. i have always had the feeling that if you bring in 5 top British (or any other western country's) Energy consultants, give them 5 years to turn the Power/Energy sector around and most of all, GIVE THEM SOME FORM OF AUTONOMY, we will in no time, have our power supply all laid out and properly planned. I just have the feeling that our own people are tied down with so much politicking and too many people to please and answer to. We have had so many eminent people in the positions of Minister of Power and steel, MD of NEPA/PHCN etc and yet, nothing has happened.

I am not berating our own indigenous engineers and consultants. I just feel that we need people that do not have any allegiance to anyone and anything and are only in a position to do a particular job and once it is finished, leave. People who are not afraid to step on toes and re-organize an industry. Maybe if we allow the imperialists to show us the way, we can learn once again.
Yes o o.

Can somebody please explain the link between Generator sellers or importers and the Government not being able to fix this electricity issue.
If one man own no spoil, another man no go better. If na you, you no go happy say you dey get biz? Abeg, leave them to enjoy the fallout of official incompetence.

How did she know that she is already in her menopause? Was she shagging in the prison? Let her mind not be troubled. There are many men out there ( and even on NL grin) who can reverse her condition with just a strike grin.

She is still highly valueable to some men. May be, she is doing advert for urgent attention. Even the pepper from the Gov will attract some golddiggers to her. Let's just watch.
Politics › Re: Eko Atlantic Is This For Real? by jamace(m): 7:45am On Mar 05, 2009
Eko Atlantic City will not happen. Fashola wants to do all these things in 4 or maybe 8 years

1. Eko Atalntic City
2. Lekki Free trade zone incorpoating an airport in Lekki
3. 10 LANE Motorway to Badary so that development would move from the Lekki corridor to the Badagry corridor.
4. 4th Mainland Bridge
5. 2 Light rail blue and red line
6. New Lekki City

The man should just do one and leave the rest, he has not got the time to do all these projects and I doubt if he has the money, which means all these projects might be a pipe dream.
I strongly agree with you. A project completed is worth more than 20 on paper. grin
Politics › Re: What Tribe Will You Consider Most Liberal And Detribalized? Give Your Reasons by jamace(m): 7:24am On Mar 05, 2009
I will look at a detribalized tribe from the point of view of a tribe that most accomodates other tribes , defends the oneness of Nigeria most and nationalistic in the performance of personal or official assignments. Here, I will give it to the MIDDLE BELT STATES like Benue, Plateau, Kaduna (Southern part), Kogi, Nassarawa, Taraba and Adamawa and Kwara, with particular reference to tribes like the Idomas, Igalas, Tiv, Katafs, Langtangs, Beroms, Angas, jukuns e.t.c. We can also add some minority tribes in states like Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Edo, Rivers and Delta.

The 3 major tribes in Nigeria are highly politicised and tribalised because of their quest to dominate other major tribes. The Hausa/Fulani have religious intolerance towards non-muslims which make them the worst tribe in Nigeria. sad

The middlle belt states are like our clothing belt that hold our trousers to the waist firmly. Without the middle belt, Nigeria will have since become balkanised. Thanks to the middle belt states for the corporate existence of Nigeria. cool

Yes. One down.
For things to be effective, it is my humble suggestion that any one sacked for ineffectiveness should be probed and if found guilty should be jailed.
Otherwise, some will steal their ministry dry and only wait to be removed, to go and enjoy their loot,

I think it is better the Hausa community make their grievances known to the commission by appearing before the commission. Otherwise, whatever decisions the govt of Plateau State takes based on recommendations made by the commission shall be binding on them, whether favourable or not.

Politics › Re: Good Work Of Nig Magistrates by jamace(m): 8:37am On Mar 02, 2009
Of recent, the judiciary has started sitting up based on some honest judgements at the election petition tribunals. However, am amazed at the way they twart the efforts of EFCC in bringing corrupt persons to book. I think the judiciary should wake up to their responsibilities by assisting Efcc to deal with criminals as fast as possible. Nigeria is stinking from corruption! angry

Politics › Re: What Senators, Other Lawmakers Earn by jamace(m): 11:03pm On Mar 01, 2009
These politicians were elected to serve and not to chop us dry. Look, they should cut their salary to average salary earner in Nigeria. Military and paramilitary men are supposed to recieve the highest salary in Nigeria because of the risky nature of their jobs. As it is now, a senator's one month salary can pay about 6 Major Generals in the Nigerian Army a month. Wow, this is unbelieveable. These politicians see their positions as an economic venture. If the senators and other govt officials salaries are brought to the average salary level, people will not do anything to get that position as it will no longer be lucrative and attractive. The Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) should reduce all political office holders basic salary by 80%. angry angry sad sad
