WHEN A TEAM IS DOING POORLY, WHO DO YOU BLAME? THE COACH OF COURSE. THE PLAYERS FOLLOW THERE LEADER.
True talk. But corruption can not even allow the club owners to do more than complain on the sideline because the past sports administrators are sharing the loots with the coaches. grin grin
Politics › Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by jamace(m): 5:44am On Feb 25, 2009
How can things work in Nigeria when religion has blinfolded some people to the extent that when they are tired of praying they look for the nearest innocent souls and start slaughtering. angry
Politics › Re: Bauchi Religious Crisis by jamace(m): 5:33am On Feb 25, 2009
You keep avoiding these issues like some of your foes in the north. How many times have Southerners killed northerners in the name of religion? If this is rooted in ethnicity as you claim- is the north waging a war against anybody who is not of their tribe/religion? Is it the North that is uninformed or South? Why does South get blamed for evils unleashed on them by northerners?
As per your folks marrying outside your faith- this is a welcome development, but how many of these blood suckers would have such a liberal mindset? Also knowing someone who is of different ethnicity or religion does not make less bigoted. US Senator Strum Thurmon- a famous Segregationist /bigot had a black child outside wedlock and campaigned for years to keep blacks from integration. Pastor Ted Haggard vilified Gays but always solicited for sex from Gay prostitutes.
Let me see Islam in action. Not just being preached as religion of peace without an iota of track record to back it up.
Supported. Let us see Islam in action. Not just being preached as religion of peace without an iota of track record to back it up. Enough of shedding of innocent blood in the name of religion! angry

Its obvious U have not been to Nigeria in a long time. My friend, Nigeria is a whole different kettle of fish. We can all stay overseas and write beautiful posts about the way things are supposed to be done but the truth of the matter is that Nigeria is something else.

I particularly like the thread that was asking "if western democracy was really suitable in Nigeria"
True talk jare. Most of the respondents are just talking theory because they are not feeling the heat.

Jamace you are a corrupt fellow

Why continue to award contract to corrupt individulas? If you cant beat them you join them. If obi wants to stand out, let him stand out tall and clear and if he cannot he should join them abeg. which one is nigerian robin hood he's trying to portray himself as.
No doubt, am not an angel.

You know too well that to create an abrupt change in present day Nigeria is suicidal. He is contributing to change in a subtle way through wisdom. I can bet that all of you condemning his action will collect and pocket the money and if possible do thanksgiving that God has prospered you. There is nothing as cheap as criticising.
Let me educate you that change in Nigeria has started in a gradual way and Obi's effort is just one of those efforts, though not yet recognised by critics.
Politics › Re: ‘how I Spend My Bribe Money’—gov Obi by jamace(m): 9:50am On Feb 24, 2009
14 responses on topic, 10 against, 3 for and 1 neutral. Conclusion, 10 will collect and pocket the money, 3 will collect and use the money like Obi and one is not sure grin grin. Naijaaaaaaa! W e have a long way to go.
As for me, I hail Obi for the action. Out of 2 bad things, one is still better than the other. Outright refusal will mean the money go back to private pocket. It is a way to recover looted funds and for the money to be used for public benefit. Changes come in bits and pieces. Only few eyes see it when it is in this humble stage.

If a man who vows to serve his people can collect #2,400,000 as basic salary and another only #12,500 ( in this present day Nigeria), then kidnapping is a consequence of injustice. I implore the kidnappers to always look in the right direction in their activities angry angry.

Crime › Re: I Got My Fake Ife, Ui, Nysc Certificates For N350,000 by jamace(m): 7:16am On Feb 24, 2009
Fake certificate holders abound in Nigeria. Most use money to get it. Others use bottompower to get it. Some use their brother, mother, father e.tc to acquire it. Cultists get it based on cult brotherhood or is it esprit de cult?. I heard of guys who sent their gurls to lecturers with the instruction that the gurls should use their arsenals to achieve the objective grin. Many "big men" in Nigeria get thiers by virtue of their wealth and position. Acquisition of paper qualification by all means has become another cankerworm in our present day Nigeria.

"And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not. Holy Bible:Timothy (ch.5, v. 13)
I am a Muslim but i believe in the above words. Alot of the people that write on this forum i believe were Christians, even though am trying not to be bias but we must be modest in our contempt for the truth. Both Islam and Christianity never preached violence we all know that they are religions of peace. Mahatma Gandhi said and i quote “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.” you cannot judge Islam by the attitude of the Muslims have in this contemporary time, if you want to know a true Muslim and his attitude read the holy qur'an, for He that easily believes rumors has the principle within him to augment rumors. It is strange to see the ravenous appetite with which some devourers of character and happiness fix upon the sides of the innocent and unfortunate.

Bauchi crisis as some peolple claimed did not start because of the approval the governor gave to the Christan Association of Nigeria (CAN)to build their headquarters Bauchi, rather it was just a little misunderstanding that erupted as a result of the long existed hostilities between the faithfuls of the two religion. More,
what and who caused it then?

Based on your quote and comments above, I have no apology if I say that you a moslem fundamentalist and given the chance you will exterminate all christians and indeed all those who are not muslims from the face of the earth, not just Nigeria only. I will advise that you truely practise your religion by acknowledging the sanctity of God's creature by sparing people of other religions. Don't you know that every body has his own chi (god)? .

Politics › Re: I Don't Believe The Problem With Nigeria Is Our Leaders by jamace(m): 8:18pm On Feb 23, 2009
Whenever I read this assertion, I feel sad. Real sad. Like we have discussed on other threads on similar topic, I still maintain that our leaders are our problems because they are the ones that have lead us to where we are today. I am saying this based on the definition of a leader. Further to the definition of a leader is the need for us to note that we have both retired and serving leaders. The influence of retired leaders in the making of the serving leaders cannot be over-emphasised. In Nigeria, the retired leaders determine who become a leader. True or false? Lets not decieve ourselves, it is 99.99% true that ex-leaders choose our so-called leaders for us. Some body said the  people choose leaders in Nigeria. I can only suspect that the person is an idealist and far from the Nigeria political reality. Thankgod that the present administration's stance on rule of law is yielding fruits and until rule of law is  imbibed by our political system, the people can not be said to have electedthe  leaders. Therefore, our leaders are the problem of Nigeria.

As fighting resumed to the sound of heavy artillery and the anguished cries of the unrepentant prostitutes as they were being interrogated by Military Intelligence officers, your intrepid reporter was forced to withdraw and slip out of the area so as to preempt any accidental discharge or unplanned pregnancy.

Stay tuned for more battle-front news as it unfolds. Over and out.
Yes o. I tell you soldiers and policemen in the barracks are lobbying seriously for this operation because of the war booty available. Bet me, at the end of this battle, Nigeria will have boom of war babies grin . Awuuff abunnan for hungry lions grin.
