faceland: One year ago when he assumed office, naira was 650 to dollars, today it is over 1500 (more than double). So if you save for a year, your purchasing power is equal to someone taking 56% of you total sweat.
Not a bad idea to dump the naira that is killing people.
Yes, the pending inflation is giving me nightmares. Unionized civil servants would never give up their easy jobs (why most don't fit in the private sectors or business, especially after retirement). They can leave work since it doesn't pay them again sir/ma. How many private can pay 60-120k for it common staff?? Which is the minimum wages at present. They keep complaining the pay is small but keep replacing themselves with thier children. |
Politics › Re: FG Rejects ₦494,000 Wage Demand, Warns Of ₦9.5 Trillion Economic Burden by jamafa: 7:51am On Jun 02, 2024 |
faceland: Labour want salary equivalent to $120 only, but convered to naira, it is 200k & government said that is totally unrealistic (especially state governors, some are owing 6 months wages of 30k/month).
This is a perfect time to lunch a communist party (if the people were not divided on tribe and religion). Maybe Government should start selling fuel in dollars, since u want FG to start paying them in dollars. High minimum wages will lead to inflation, nah d masses go suffer it. If dem no go work, FG will still pay them. Since the pay is small, why are they replacing themselves with thier children?? Alot of qualify youths are outside looking for work. |

happney65: He didn't make anything easy for him. At all. Seyi has to start from scratch most especially in the area of infrastructure.
Of course like I said in one previous post. I only commend Ajimobi on two things. Nipping thugery in the bud in his first term and the establishment of Ibadan Urban Flood Management authority.
Guy!
Sheyi dont start from the scratch.
Makinde continue from where Ajimobi stopped.
When it comes to infrastructure and Security in Oyo state, no governor near Ajimobi.
If you reside in Oyo state, u will understand more.
And as Seyi,He doesn't play politics of bitterness.
But saying he is the best or whatever is all lies and hype.
Seyi has surpassed all administration since 1999. Maybe it is only Bola Ige of the old Oyo state and Awolowo that has surpassed seyi presently
Hope you get my point now |
Politics › Re: VP Shettima Inaugurates 76.67km Ogbomoso-iseyin Road Constructed by Seyi Makinde by jamafa: 9:08am On May 31, 2024 |
happney65: This is the longest stretch of road ever constructed by the any government in Oyo state since the return of Democracy in 1999. This isn't even in Ibadan, the state capital. It is in Ogbomosho. Linking Ogbomosho and Oke ogun together.
The other day someone was saying Ajimobi was a so called Koseleri,I was like what exactly did he do that was spectacular. Someone should tell me as I don't seem to know.
This is still small. Wait for the Ibadan circular road to be completed and lots more. Ajimobi made it easy for Makinde. For an opposition to commend his rival, that means the rival has done well.

So if abians want to enjoy the good life that they have been starved for decades they should not think about money now and focus on building their states. But you want federal government to pay 500k as minimum wages |

Minimum wage should not be less than two hundred kky, or close to that figure. Any amount less than #120,000 is a joke and daylight scam.

This Government is really being set up nicely to have enough funds to either make a mark or continue the culture of looting Lol There's no need to increase wages, let them fix the economy. Both him and wife are dark complexioned while son is very very fair complexioned.
There is something fishy I must agree! That complexion is not it. Husband and wife might be dark in complexion, make baby light in complexion. The baby can inherit d complexion from family, it can be GP or GM. Myself as a case study I and my babe is dark, my son is light and he is my papa carbon copy. It happens like that |
