First and foremost I am a 2.2 graduate. But from what I have seen so far, I have come to discover that job adverts specifically give preference to first class and 2.1 graduates and very few give room for 2.2 applicants. And I am yet to see any job specification that includes graduates of third class degree.

Now someone with a third class degree can only do masters after completion of a postgraduate diploma. However, job advertisements for lecturing positions still lay emphasis on minimum of 2.2 for lecturing positions. So a third class degree applicant who has masters and PhD still doesn't stand a chance as compared to first and 2.1 or 2.2 applicants.

So my question is, what is the way forward for third class graduates, should they abandon the degree and enrol for another first degree? Or universities should abolish the award of third class degrees to graduates.

In my own opinion, students who have poor grades that will eventually earn them a third class degree should be given some form of remedial programmes for a year or two which will attract additional fees so they can have opportunity to boost their grades and at least earn a 2.2 upon graduation. Just my opinion!

Please feel free to make your contributions as well. There are a lot of third class degree holders out there who are really frustrated and would want some advice on what to do!

Good morning everybody. The second category of people is Self-Employed. Self-Employed are the people that do their business themselves. They are referred to as "One Man Business". They earn their money by actively involve in their businesses. They won't earn money if they don't go to where they conduct their business. They give theirselves freedom since they don't have any Boss to query them. They are their own Boss. They dictate what to do and what not to for themselves. Examples of this category of people are Bricklayers, Recharge Card Printers and Sellers, Food Vendors, Painters, et al.

Here we go... There are three categories of people in life. First is Employee, second is Self-Employed while the third one is Business Owner. Employee are the people receiving monthly salaries in a Company or Firm. You work very hard for you to be paid that salary. If you are absent for a day without any genuine and concrete reason(s), your salary will be deducted. You wake up as early as 4:00am or 5:00am heading to your office or working place and come back home late like 10:00pm or 11:00pm and at times 12:00am. This category of people continue this type of life cycle till they reach their retirement age(65) and if care is not taken, they will remain poor for the remaining of their lives. But if that Employee have had an entrepreneurship mindset before he or she started the monthly job, he or she will create business or businesses that will be able to stand the test time before he or she retires. I will be explaining the remaining two categories of people because I want to hang out and catch fun with my Platonic Friend just to celebrate the new year 2020. Thanks...

So according to Jesus (the initiator of preaching and teaching people of all the nations) what you're about to say could lead to a serious conflict, because the people you're about to preach to already have their form of worship, therefore you need to be CAUTIOUS as a serpent and HARMLESS as dove! Matthew 10:16

What all these religionists are practicing today is totally contrary to what Jesus laid down, they will use megaphones, stand in public places and even install it on the walls of their worship centers and begin saying hurtful things against other religionists in the name of God. All of them are guilty of this CRIME!

The one and only group practicing exactly what Jesus laid down is known today as Jehovah's Witnesses, they will not make any noise in the neighborhood, they'll come for a friendly visit, with a peaceful greeting and take permission from their neighbours before delivering their message. Take note that they're not visiting you because they want to worship with you, but because they want to convert you in a MILD WAY. 2Peter 2:12,3:15
So they're the one and only group behaving exactly as Jesus taught them! Luke 10:3
