1. Do you sleep 8 hours daily?
2. Do you eat enough? You shouldn't be in a calorie deficit while weightlifting.
3. What is your daily protein consumption like? You need up to 0.8 to 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight. E.g. Assuming you are 180 pounds in bodyweight, you need 144 to 180grams of protein per day.
4. Do you use progressive overload? You should gradually increase weights in small amounts when you get too comfortable with your current weight load.
5. Do you rest? Your muscles grow when you rest and not when you work out. Try to rest about 48 hours between workouts
6. Do you do compound lifts (deadlift, squats, bench press, shoulder press)? They activate much more muscles than isolation exercises (curls and flyes). Note: don't skip leg day.
7. Do you observe the correct form for each exercise? Bad form leads to poor gains and injury.
8. Are your expectations too high? It can take up to one year and more of consistent weightlifting (and observing the fundamentals) to see really good improvement in your physique. Although you should start seeing a little improvement after 3 months.
