- Some names sold at the first outbound, but most were sold after 1-2 follow-ups.
- I source my leads online (Google search).
- I target decision makers or heads of marketing department...( I find their emails via Snov/Apollo/Rocket...etc) ...at some point, you tend to have an idea of how their email addresses might be Example: Btinubu@Bleep.com or Bola.Tinubu@Bleep.com or Bola@Bleep.com ... You Sha get the idea!
- I follow lots of online news/newsletters - that's basically how I get my inspiration for what I coin.
- September is looking good (3 sales in the pipeline).
- None of these names have any matrices, just gut instincts and GOD's grace.
- I'm still a noob in domaining ooo ... Pls drop any questions here - so that anyone can chip in with an answer & the knowledge can be shared.

My advice to anyone struggling in this thing - be patient. Find what works for you, perfect it for yourself and keep grinding. Have faith in the process - as it isn't always easy...and, if you don't "love" what you're doing - pls do that which you "love" - cos it is this passion that will keep you going when dry spells occur.

- Don't be shy to ask meaningful questions. Lots of peeps on here (low-key ) make 4-figs every month.

- Follow domains and all things domaining on Twitter & clubhouse... E get why!

The difference between the rich & the poor is "information".

Yes, it must be a system glitch. I have registered the name and submitted it. Its pending review

Two things

Probably it has been registered by another domain or SH has not registered the domain but approved. Chat support and let them know. If they send you who.is, it shows it has been registered by another domainer. If not, just relax, when SH register, it will be in your portfolio.

Had same issues severally

It hasn't been registered, still available. I have chatted with support and I was told they will sort it out. Thanks

SH approved an unregistered name I submitted. I wanted to publish the name but I was told they had issues registering the name. Have you experienced this before

Good to know you had some wins. I got tired when they stole between 8-10 of my names without compensation. After reporting they'll tell me they can't confirm it was registered by the contest holder, even those that were registered same day, 2days and 4days from submission. Names that were never submitted to contests before I did.

One of the names Luzri(.)com was even brought back to their premium domains market after the CH stole it from a contest and registered it on Namesilo(same registrar SH uses, but wasn't placed on SH market until many weeks later). I suspected their staff on that one.

When it seemed my efforts were going down the drain, I stopped participating in their contests and moved on to other things. These days I only go there to list or sumbit names.

My contest participations are now limited to Brand/new/name(fewer contests, but more reliable for me).

Since you have won two, you can win more.

I use clearbit, apollo and also the company's website. Yes CEO, Founder, owner, president and partners, depending on how the company is structured

I registered some names in the real estate niche. I targeted one company in this case, most times more than 1. I got a response after the first email. Sometimes its after 4 or 5 follow-ups. The key is to target decision makers in the company. Thanks

Let me give you a suggestion for unregistered submission.
When you have names pending for such a long time (2 weeks max), delete and resubmit. If nothing happens after a while again, just delist and submit another name.
Lately, for Squadhelp registered domains, the top quality ones (which the Ai & all their reviewers upvote) are what is being approved (you'll see something like "Auto-approved" ) . While the ones that are pending for long time needs manual approval (These are usually average names).
I have names pending since April. What I did was to simply remove them and submit another set. 3 have been approved within a week so far.
The ones I delisted will still be submitted at another time.
1 week is usually the max I wait before replacing a "pending review" domain now.

Just reapply instead of doing that,but in your re-application you can submit the refusal letter in addition with the rectified reason for refusal(back up with a letter from your lawyer)they will release the visa with speed.

How many times I follow up? I follow up 10 times*2 in a year. 1 quarter 10 times. Last Quarter 10 times before totally dropping it.

Most tend to sell in the second session of 10 follow ups. Probably because in the first session the email might have entered spam. Then in the second session it might have hit the inbox.

It is very important to allow your email rest. If u want to be making sales all year round via outbound. To have many sales letter formats and many other stuffs.

I leave about 4months before another round of 10 follow ups(second session).

Someone asked if I use mailtrack? I don't. Infact I'm even trying to go the automate route cause I see alot of potential in emds and auto lead Gen but the downside will be your emails could be hitting the wrong end users thus falling into spam. That's one of the reasons I'm unable to scale since most of my bulk process is manual and it could be very boring; portfolio still swinging around 100.


My mind is telling me the culprit could be all Ur emails is entering spam...this is one of the biggest issues in outbounding...how sure are you that Ur emails arent entering spams. Of course, their are myriads of tweaking and strategies to know if it enters spam or gets delivered/seen by end users. I have highlighted some in my previous post.

Most important thing everyone have their journeys and what works for them. It is important to re-evaluate and stick to what works for someone that is develop a unique angle such that u can be very consistent.

For me I've developed a unique method that works for me in OUTBOUND although the sales might be relatively small but it has been consistent. All I need is to scale the process but I'm kind of lazy and instead channeling the energy to brandables as I also want to get a unique method that can bring sales every month.

First, you can no longer push names on Dynadot with forum names. They now only accept USERNAMES for domain push.

Second, the Dynadot mobile app seems to have glitches with domain push recently (as shown in the screenshot). You should use their website instead.

Note: I think Dan's forum/username is DAN and not DanTransfers.
