Don't you get what is happening here?

The wife made the post, complaining about the husband, and the husband who the ex opines must have introduced the wife to Nairaland cos he also introduced her to the forum, found out about the post.

He most likely has an access to the wife's account and comes in and sees how he has been exposed by his countrymen.

He is irrate and starts commenting as the wife, dissing guys who suggested he was either a cheat or a scammer but commending those who stated the wife was being jealous and insecure.

The tone of the initial post and these recent responses are not the same.

Now all we can do is pity the innocent woman who was made to believe she was loved.

Unfortunately this philandering man doesn't know that we reap whatever we sow.
This actually makes sense. I was wondering too.

He already got what he wanted from you lipsrsealed, so being faithful to you is the least thing he can do now.

I'm just wondering why you jumped into marriage
with him without thinking about it?

You know the right decision to take but you still posted on this thread, I mean what do you hope at the end?.

It's either you put up with his cheating or just leave really!.

High demanding IT skills depend on which area, web dev, software dev, mobile, dev, DevOps(hottest kid on the block), AI(this is very broad), data science...........and so on.

But with Web Dev, you can't go wrong. (learn HTML, CSS, Javascript, Angular, React, ) for frontend. (Java, Php, Nodejs) for backend.

You can start with HTML CSS, then move to Javascript, and then React before Angular for frontend development.
For backend, I would say learn JAVAEE with ( Spring/Hibernate) and Nodejs. But if you are already proficient in Javascript, then perfect your backend skills with Nodejs and learn other frameworks to it.
All in all, programming is not all about what language you are proficient in, it is about how to analyse and solve problems. Your architecture and logic implementations are what makes you a good developer. This is where a good knowledge of data structures and algorithm come into play.

See just stay focus and forget all this IT hype, learn German and follow your passion. If you jump ship because people are saying so,hmm. The grass is not always green on the other side.
The last part is so true. I just think people should stick to one programming language at a time. I'm currently learning java in Studienkolleg (almost done) but it's not easy to be honest.

The main thing about learning a programming language is to be able to create something with it afterwards.

Bro, I would advise you to be humble, failing a course in Germany doesn't mean you are unserious. Wait till you come, then you see how different and intense it is to study here. Besides, overconfidence is a dangerous trait to bring over here. Once you fail an exam, it is difficult to pass it the second time without sacrificing something in your life, and if you fail the second time, the pressure of losing your student status will make you lose concentration when studying for the third trial.

Saying you have never failed an exam b4 ....hm no comment. I just hope you don't fail any when you get here.
Me I've failed an exam too here, it humbled me big time cool.

This doesn't prove anything and you must be a dumbass to believe it's real. It was aimed above the shoulder, could have aimed for his head instead.

Talking about Food.
I'm OK with just beans and rice (I can't go a day without those especially, beans)

So, my planned list of food stuff is

15k9 of beans
10kg of rice
Maybe some Some garri
3liters of palm oil
Some ground paper
Salt
Maggi
Onions

I don't know how available and cheap these are over there because I don't mind omitting some considering the fact that I like traveling light...

What do you think?
10kg of rice shocked.

You could easily get 1kg of rice here for few cents. Even onions!.

This is sold for 1.99€.

You don't necessarily need to buy stock cubes while coming.

TravelRe: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by janettee(f): 11:53am On May 03, 2019
This is sold for 0.99€ in Rewe supermarket. Could be cheaper in other supermarkets!.

TravelRe: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by janettee(f): 11:49am On May 03, 2019
Basic foodstuffs to bring while coming in my opinion: egusi, ogbono, dried fish, stock fish, ground pepper, dried bitter leaves, crayfish, red oil.

These are the basics, bring as much as you can!. The red oil sold in African stores is trash in my opinion cheesy.

While cooking Nigerian soups here, you can always use spinach as your vegetable.

I think people should calm down about this posting of experience.
This thread has been surviving for years and will keep surviving if people decide to post experience or not.
I understand the need for people to keep posting their experience but the way some of you attack people about it is sometimes wrong.
You can always politely ask people to post their experiences, if they want to, they do. It's not a MUST.
However, posterity requires that we should give back where we have reaped.
Let's take this things gently.
Whenever somebody shared their good news, like we always do, we congratulate and then we can politely say:
" CAN YOU SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE FOR OTHERS TO LEARN"

Not

" LOOK AT YOU, YOU DIDNT EVEN POST YOUR EXPERIENCE, BLA BLA BLA "

Success to everyone in the house.
My thoughts exactly.

Lol, I thought they said we can carry two bags of 23kg each?
TOTAL OF 46KG

So, I fit carry
17kg garri
3kg dried fish
3kg stock fish
Thats 23kg in one bag,

Then the remaining 23kg go be clothes and other miscellaneous then the bag I go carry for hand go contain some personal things.

All I know is that all the required free kg will be filled completely with foodstuffs and other necessary things.

Well, I have never travelled before by flight, so I dont know how things are done there

€1000 is too much. I know what am saying.

Some people hustled out the substantial amount required for BA and now, they need to get €1000 which is about 400,000 plus.. The hustle no real sis. You sef sabi wetin i dey talk

I'm not arguing with you sister. Just saying the fact. You are right as well but can you suggest cities that won't require €1000
My post isn't just for people heading to big cities.

Such small cities doesn't exist in my opinion.
TravelRe: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by janettee(f): 6:10am On May 02, 2019
Hadampson:
€400 is for small cities like Chemnitz, Mittweida and others
You still need to pay your semester ticket. You still need money for security deposit. Whether big or small, the reality is that 400 isn't just enough.
TravelRe: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by janettee(f): 6:09am On May 02, 2019
Hadampson:
€1000 is more than enough o

I believe the required amount needed is directly proportional to the city the person is heading to.

€400 = small cities

€1000 = big cities smiley
Honestly, I'm not going to argue with you on this. Whether big or small city. 400€ isn't just enough.

You need to pay your rent and buy semester ticket. Semester ticket cost up to 300. I paid more than 350 this semester.

Paying your rent also means that you might have to pay security deposit of about three months. Let's say the rent is 250€. 250*3 is 750.

So how's 400 enough in this case?.
We need to be realistic here.

So please tell me how 400 is enough in this case.
TravelRe: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by janettee(f): 10:25pm On May 01, 2019
Hadampson:
€400 is not small

Accommodation would have been sorted out before leaving Nigeria.

You only need to obtain the semester ticket for easy movement which depends on the city.

With proper management, €400 is okay
It's not enough.

He's right, one needs at least 1000 euros to use for expenses until they can be able to access their BA.

And you forgot that finding an apartment is a herculean task if you are heading to a big city. Before you can get your semester ticket, you have to pay for it and it's not cheap.

I'm not sure if I can be the teacher you need. I find it very difficult explaining the rules behind certain things, since the language came naturally to me. Being a kid when we came, I just picked it up like kids pick up the language spoken around them.
