Richmondoau: VO. Which city are you going to? Me.. Pfarrkichen..she corrected me with the correct pronunciation. Which state is pfarrkichen located? Me....Bavaria VO.. Capital city of Bavaria? Me.. I answered Deggendorf but she said am wrong. VO .. Why this course? Cos your first degree has no business with this course ( first degree was in philosophy while am going for BAinternational tourism management) Me.. Due to the decline in oil prices, Nigeria has decided to move to non oil export to top up her income and she had chosen Tourism as a way to top up her income so studying this course will help me contribute to the idea. Capital city of Bavaria is Munich. I think you should research more about why you want to study this particular course. I feel like the reason you gave the VO wasn't convincing enough. I wish you goodluck in your appeal . |

integrator: Just my 2 cent. This depends on the depth of your pocket. If you can avoid shared apartments especially with Indians please do. Apologies this is not meant to be a rasist post. I am writing this from first hand experience. I have lived with four of them. HYGIENE IS NOT THEIR STRENGTH. The funny thing is that one of them has brought about 3 other people to live with him in his room. I live in a 3-room shared flat. we each have a room to ourselves. My other two flat mates are Indians. Sorry to say this they are litter bugs or should I say a mobile thrash can. They don't sleep at night, they make noise all through the night, every night. They have never for once swept the flat or wash the toilet. The electric plate they dont clean it. If I don't clean it, it will remain like that. If I clean it, they will mess it up almost immediately. I have threatened to report them to the landlord but they plead with me. They resume to their normal activity after a few days. They dont sleep and dont want you to sleep. They have turned the kitchen to a refuse dump. I have told them severally to put their thrash in a nylon i bought that I will empty the refuse when it is full. They will leave the refuse bin I provided and put their mess on the floor. They leave the main door to the flat open day and night. I have complained I am tired of complaining. I told them if there is any security breach I will hold them responsible. I close it. the next moment it is open again. They are very dirty and noisy. Although I am not saying all Indians are like this, but I have not been lucky because I have lived with four of them minus their friends that live with them. The common denominator is FILTH!!!
I wish you all good luck and success as you come to Germany. I don't think it's about them being Indians. You are just unlucky. Sharing an apartment with lazy ass people is a pain in the ass and can be frustrating. |

I have a friend who was rejected 3 times before she finally made it to Germany. I don't think rejections should instill fear in anybody on this thread, the problem is that we are used to seeing success stories. And I don't think it's about the VO, cause I'm sure other VOs issue rejection letters too. Someone posted how they successfully appealed their rejection about a week or two weeks ago on this thread, I'm sure that should be enough motivation for those who were rejected recently not to lose hope. The good thing about rejection is that you can always appeal the decision. I find it funny that some are already hoping not to be interviewed by the said VO. What if you get rejected by a VO other than her?. Finally, prepare well for the interview, so on the day it wouldn't matter which VO you were interviewed by .... |

robinicule: After getting AL. Frankfurt instructs that I enroll into the school online and sending further documents that includes the confirmation of chool fees payment of about €400 to them by post. My question is, is this the same as the embassy enrollment. I'm confused because time is going and the school enrollment deadline is Sept 30 Once you enrol, you will officially be a student of the university and you will receive your student account password and student card/semester ticket by post. So, I would advise you do it before the deadline passes. |

dennisMOD: After I applied online and made the payment, I called the Naija embassy in the Netherlands and scheduled an appointment for 3 days after the online application. I got my passport on the same day in Hague. You have to pay 100 Euros for that. But if you aren't in a haste, you can wait for 30 days or less and you don't have to pay the 100 Euros then. They're quite reliable there than in Berlin. And guess what! The official gave me back my 100 Euros after we had a few conversations and he realized I'm a student. It was grace oh. Lol. Many students go there and they pay 100 Euros for an instant collection. That's great!. Me and my family wouldn't have minded waiting 30 days lol, as long as they are reliable. The embassy in Berlin didn't have booklets for 32 pages passport so everyone that day were forced to pay for the the 64 pages passport lol. People who previously paid for 32 pages had to quickly pay for the 64 pages passport. And they are always booked out on their website, truth is, if you know someone there, you will automatically get an appointment . After visiting that embassy and waiting the whole day, whatever little hope I had for Nigeria, I don't have anymore . |

Trustmeall: I have been married for about 18 years. My wife got tested +ve in 2007 during antenatal screening of our 2nd child. I am -ve when I was tested and I was advised to be using Condoms. I was using it but later stopped few months later. I am still -ve. I think I am somehow fortunate. I don't even think of it. She is the one bearing the stigma, especially when going to pick her drugs at the hospital.
I always try to keep her mind off it but her mood always change around the date of her clinic. She takes her drugs and she is healthy. The kids are - ve too. Thanks to God. . |

Sahmyhandsome: Hello everyone! Please. I applied to 4 different schools for this winter semester for the studienkolleg. I've gotten admission for 2 schools but the letters came in late so I can't meet up for the placement test again. The third one, I was offered a language prepatory course instead of studienkolleg while the 4th school hasn't sent anything but that's not the issue. The issue is that for the language prepatory course, the placement test is on the 17th of October. I booked for appointment at the embassy on the 24th of June,I filled in October 8 to be in Germany. Its August already and I haven't gotten any feedback from the embassy only my reference number. Is it OK that I haven't gotten an appointment date yet or there's a problem somewhere? And when does anyone think I'm gonna get the appointment date?... Please someone should update me because rn my mum has totally lost hope. Embassy doesn't grant visa for language course just so you know. |

I never said people who wrote more than 2 pages won't make it to Germany lol, I'm not sure why you added that. |

Whitemagic: Cant thank you enough for this info...really helpful... i would be applying to a school in Frankfurt am main, pls what do you have to say about the city? Though I no longer live in Frankfurt but I could chip in one or two things about the city. First off, it's a really diverse city!. The rent there is high especially if you are considering living in the central. If you want to pay less for rent, you might want to consider smaller districts in Frankfurt or smaller cities close Frankfurt. From my experience, there aren't much Nigerians in Frankfurt but you would meet other Africans especially the ones from eastern Africa. The semester ticket covers the whole of Hessen including Mainz. If you are good in German it's easy to find a job otherwise it might be hard to find something you could do while also studying, this is the most important part. |
