HEZBOLLAH LIVES MATTER! Hezbollah chief says giving up weapons not part of Israel talks Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem says the Lebanese group’s weapons arsenal isn’t part of the negotiations with Israel and is an internal matter for Lebanon. Hezbollah will cooperate with the government to achieve five points: Lebanese sovereignty through a cessation of Israeli aggression, withdrawal of the Israeli army from occupied territories, the release of prisoners, the return of people to southern Lebanon and reconstruction, he added. “No one outside Lebanon has any say in the weapons, the resistance or the organisation of Lebanon’s internal affairs,” Qassem said. “This is an internal Lebanese matter and not part of negotiations with the enemy. After Lebanon achieves the five points, it will organise its internal affairs with a national security strategy, leveraging its strengths, including the resistance.” |

The image of Mary does not represent Christianity. So the IDF (or maybe Muslim terrorist in disguise) is right by doing that. No big deal. I could destroy and burn any images used for worship. Christians are not idolaters. That said, all these silly attempts at famzing Christians to have them turn against Israel won't work. Israel is the antidote for Islamic terrorism, and they have my support now and always. |

I remember Nairaland backyard analysts then boasting "Russia will capture Ukraine in just one week". Well, it's over 4 years now and Ukraine is still standing! It’s easy to issue strong statements from the sidelines. Actually backing them up is a different story. Raabish! |

This has a direct impact on our energy supply and a huge impact on our economic performance.” |

DeepSight:It’s not about who “deserves” nukes please. It’s more about trust, behaviour, transparency, and regional risk. Pakistan having nukes doesn’t mean Iran should get them too. One bad example doesn’t justify another. And that goes with Israel. You may call it double standards, but countries judge threats based on actions now. Iran' constant hostile rhetoric and threats are things you can't ignore. You shouldn't be arguing fairness. Countries usually act based on security risk. |
DeepSight:Iran didn’t need to start anything. Creating a credible nuclear threat is enough to trigger preemptive action. And we all know Israel has always been their target. They want the entire nation of Israel nuked. Over the years, Israel hadn't experienced peace with Hamas, Hezbollah and then Houthi...all Iran terror proxies. https://www.quora.com/Why-does-the-Iranian-regime-threaten-Israel-What-has-Israel-done-to-Iran-or-the-Iranian-people |
DeepSight:I've done that already. I criticised America for escalation and the human cost of war (and I mean innocent civilians only). No country is above criticism. Humans make them up and humans are not perfect. My point is simply that criticism should be balanced. If you can see US errors, you should also be able to see Iran's threats too and the role they played in creating the same crisis. |
DeepSight:Lol! That is very easy. But pretending every move they make is wrong while excusing Iran is the harder bias to ignore. Don't you think? |
