honourhim:Cant you people just appreciate anything except provocation. Do you take joy in being suffered, pushed and humiliated? Are you saying you would have prefered a quit notice? When Arewa did that, did you know how much you people played the victim. And for the issue of having your day in Port-Harcourt; dont you think it is much better respecting the wishes of your host. You have a rich culture and blessed lands. Why not promote your culture in your land. Must it be imposed on others? I taya ooo |
honourhim:And after provoking your host to chase you away, I am sure you will shout genocide and pogrom. Try to be sensible abeg!! |
hagiosfemi:You are among those writing their MB this year? |
Still expecting Hematology which is my favorite course now. However, I will be deceiving you guys if i told you the exam was easy. It was generally tough and with a -1 negative marking. Crazy right? Pharmacology was just abnormal. The questions were lifted from God knows where. Nothing related to any textbook or even the lectures. God, one of the worst exams I av done. The whole class was so confused, it became funny. So yes, I hope for my sanity, I dont see the results. Lol. |
So what are the lessons learnt: Well one thing was constant during my Block 1: mistakes. Some were plain weird. Some were of my making. Bottom line is: The mistakes has to be reduced to an insignificant minimum. Night Reading. Those who av been following my posts for long would remember my disdain for night reading. Well since my Block 1 exam, I've been making giant strides. I've chosen my caffeinated poison in Coke and chose the hours of 10pm to 3am. Its currently working and am starting to require less poison to stay awake. Lol. All in all my released results were okay. Could av been better but still okay. All thanks to God and your wishes. Thanks to everyone. |
Chem Path
|
Chemical Pathology Hmmmm. Of all mistakes I've made in exam halls, I think those i made during Chem path exam makes the peak. You knw those weird days where every step you take is the wrong one? Exactly. I dont knw if it was psychological or just plain weird. I was just making the wrong decisions through out the exam duration. Cleaning and re choosing, it was just so not me. Well even tho i had high hopes fir Chem Path before the exam, i killed. I was expecting a very low score; more like the high/mid 50s. Twas that bad in my mind. Well, when the results came; twasnt as bad i thought. Got 69.4%. Yeah not as bad. |
omotTimmy:Thanks alot chief |
Last man on the list. Lol
|
Histopathology Well, I like this course, but its too voluminous. I was very prepared for it but I couldnt cover it all. I had to leave out some topics under Neoplasm. Not the best of ideas but i was out of options. Such mistakes shlould be best avoided in my Block 2. On the exam day, i felt confident; yeah. Went in, few questions were asked on Neoplasm which i left some unanswered. There were 50 stem MCQs. I must av answered at least 230 of the 250 branch questions. Well my target before the exam was 75%. After the exam i dropped it to 70%. So you guys can guess how suprised i was to see 74.2% [extremely close to my target and the 2nd highest in the class]. One of these days, I shld try and top the class. Lol. Anyways thats not important. Whats important is reaching my set targets. |
As my custom of posting the result pix, here is how the Med MCB result looked like. *Had to black out the names.
|
Medical Microbiology. On the exam date, i did made some petty mistakes that i felt were too cheap to make. Was it overconfidence? I hope not. Anyways when leaving the exam, I believed I got 42 right, 6 unsure, 2 unaswered out of 50. So at least i was expecting 40 after negative marking. Then i got home and started cross checking my notes and text. Boom!!! See cheap mistakes. To say i was sad is an understatement. My strong point has always been my ability to keep cool under pressure and thus rule out simple mistake. Anyways the result came and got 37.6. I was ambivalent about it. 3rd best or so in the class but way below my target of 45. Well moving on. |
Last time I told some of my results were released. Well, 1 more was pasted after that. So in all, I've seen my block 1 result for Medical Microbiology, Histopathology and Chemical Pathology. Still expecting Hematology and Pharmacology. *maybe i dnt wish to see the pharmacology sef* lol. Will tell u guys why later. |
It's been a long time I posted here. Hmmmm. Despite the strike and me having more time than I've been used to, i still found it hard to post. Was it lack of motivation? Maybe. Anyways thanks to Edgar who gave me a lil' push. So here i am today. |
firstolalekan:OMG!! You are a deluded idiot. You made me laugh out loud. You just embarassed yourself. Clap for yourself. Now educate yourself, google is free because none; i repeat, none of the actors or actresses in Grey's Anatomy are medical practitoners. Lmao, so much for a self professed "Chartered Accountant". Do yourself a favor and shut it. You've disgraced yourself on a public forum enough. |
firstolalekan:Congrats Mr Chartered accountant. I'm sure you can compete with other accountants around the world. Instead of behaving like a literate you claim to be, you are comparing doctors in the whole country to professional actors in a medical movie. Says a lot about your IQ or more correctly lack of it. Morons like you eventually get into the government and make the health sector worse since you feel Nigerian doctors cant compete. I dont even know if saving lives is now a competition. Take a white doctor and ask him to practice in a Nigerian hospital where there is lack of electricity, no water, no defibrillator or even a working ECG machine and see how many patients he will kill. Channel your frustrations to the right people, the government; who are cheating you and I from practising in our respectable sector with comfort. Not doctors who are suffering from the same treatment. |
firstolalekan:You are the ignorant one. So a hungry doctor can save lives without making mistakes abi. Wont he be distracted of how to pay his bills rather than 'saving' lives. Instead of chanelling your frustration to the government who pockets the money while starving doctors, you decide to face the victims. Who is the ignorant one? Its a rhetorical question |
omohayek:I guess I'm starting to see that. The inability to understand simple logic is just unbelievable. I dont want to believe these are the future of this country. Total lack of anything called intelligence. Thanks for the advice though. |
fatymore:I am doing good. You? |
fatymore:It could be the money factor, you know. |
etebefia:And what did I say for the Igbos? Please quote it. And if you cant, just have a nice day. |
etebefia:Excuse me, did you read my post? I dont speak for Yorubas. I speak for myself. Is that hard to grasp? As there are some Igbos who support it and some who dont, so it is among the Yorubas. Look I have a lot of intelligent Igbo friends who I buy into their logic but I must say I am dissapointed by you and the other guy yesterday. Probably you guys have been so hardwired and expect e-quarrels everytime. Well, i am not the type to give you such satisfaction. I just cant stand the hate between humans masked as tribalism. So i will advice you go back and read that my post with a cleaner mind and God be with you. |
etebefia:You are directing the question to the wrong person. I have never agitated for nor condemned secession. Because I feel every human demand for whatever he wants, as much as it is within his rights. So if anyone is agitation for secession, i think it is within such people's right. And for those who oppose, they are also within their rights. As humans, everyone deserves to have an opinion. That is why you also shouldnt be suprised if some Yorubas decides to agitate for secession that other Yorubas are "opposing" because its a free world, and all Yorubas arent supposed to feel the same way or have the same opinion. Everyone shld think fot themselves and decide whats best for him or her. So; i will remind you again; I am not against Igbos agitating for secession, it is not my call and never will i step so low to do that. Also, neither am I asking for secession, and its within my right not to. I hope. I have cleared myself. |
Honestly, I have encountered variety of individuals with low I.Q., this has to be the top pick. Phew!!! |
CaptainGOOD:As much as I would love to satisfy you with my time, you arent intelligent enough to deserve it. I have better things to do than read your incoherent jumble of words. So have a nice night mister. Twas nice (not really) talking to you. |
CaptainGOOD:You just throw names around, dont you? I would recommend you point out any of my post i av called the organization you mentioned names. If not, then I'll assume you are just an immature fellow who believes the only way he could be heard is throwing cheap insults. Have a nice night |
CaptainGOOD:You inclusive? Have you gone through my post and see an insult from me to any tribe? You seem deluded and out of touch. I wont wrestle with you in the mud; I am beyond that. And for the sake of clarity, telling you to man up and stop hiding behind insults isn't crying. I hope your brain handles and process that. Calling me devilish just shows how childish you are. You know what: do your thing. Go ahead and be a child of hatred. I hope it gives you maximum satisfaction. |
dubemnaija:Yeah, the typical name calling when you have nothing sensible to say. Maturity obviously isn't your forte. |
etebefia:You are consumed with hatred. You people complain abt Yorubas that wont support seccession and call them Afonja. Those who support seccession, you say they are hungry. I'm not the type to generalize, but you people are just filled with hatred and anger for everythimg. |
EMMAUGOH:Okay then. rainylad:Is that a fact or just your opinion? If you have been subjected to tribal-oriented hate, why not tell us about it. You speak against propanganda and you are generating one without any fact to back up your claim. You say Yorubas are not accomodating and there true colors showed after the FG moved to Abuja, and yet the numbers of Igbos keep increasing in that same Lagos. Are you saying the Igbos are insensitive to the maltreatment dished out by the Yorubas and still keep flocking in? You and I know thats not feasible. You are Igbo (i deduced that from your post) and you should be a proud one. And also learn to appreciate that you were born as one not by choice; the same way other Yorubas had no choice to be one. Then there will be mutual respect. So instead of antagonising someone else's as opinion before ironically calling your own opinion a fact, why not shun tribalism and embrace humanity. |
EMMAUGOH:Okay then. |
EMMAUGOH:And having a Yoruba mentality is synonymous to being lesser to you. Do you even know how tribalistic you sound? People like you will scream racism if a Csucasian refer to a fellow Caucasian as having a black man's mentality. But still you consciously believe an Igbo man having a Yoruba mentality is an "efulefu". At what point do you see yourself as human first and Igbo next? We accuse Hitler of genocide against other races but with deep thinking, many of you are capable of such if given the power. My advice, which you may not accept, is that as much as you have the right to "self-determination" (something i hear a lot from you guys lately), so do the "Igbos with Yoruba mentality". The fact they embaced the cultures of their host and respect it raises them even above you mentally. And the rule is: If you want (your culture) to be respected, respect others. Good day. |
