Devaluation of currency will help boost the economy and allow cheaper goods at the market and can as well help the currency at the int'l market.

I'm not trying to ridicule the movement..We in the private sectors see NLC as government staff movement. They only use us to achieve their aims. A salary increment is not the solution. But if they insist, the government can pay the 200k and after like 2 months, devalue the naira. Additionally, salary increments will lead to inflation if you understand my point.

But when NASS pads the budget to add money for their upkeep and pocket allowances and furnitures and other things, this doesn't cause inflation.

When the government creates new agencies and reform their salary scale and pay them triple of what normal civil servants are earning, it doesn't lead to inflation.

The government wants you to think that increasing salary of workers will do that.

But one minister will steal 37billion and inflation is not heard of.

When several people steal and blame snakes and monkeys or rodents, they will never mention inflation.

I pray that NLC stand by this.


Pretty soon, the government will increase the price of fuel to N1,200 while they want to pay minimum wage at 35k.
