robosky02: AFCON 2025: Akor Adams leaves Super Eagles camp after 4-0 win over Mozambique
Super Eagles striker, Akor Adams, has left the team’s camp following their 4-0 win over Mozambique in the last 16 of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
This was confirmed in an update shared on the team’s official X page.
The short statement confirmed that Adams was granted permission to be with his mother who has been hospitalized.
It read: “Akor Adams has been granted permission to leave camp to go be with his mum, who was hospitalised yesterday.
“We’re sending prayers and strength to him and wishing his mum a quick recovery.”
Despite receiving the news before Nigeria took on the Mambas, Akor went ahead to start the game and scored the last goal.
It remains to be seen if the Sevilla striker will return in time for their quarter-final clash against either DR Congo or Algeria on Saturday.

ope2711: This is not the issue of taking care of the children, I'm the one taking care of them before, what I'm saying is that she betrayed me. Boss, go and sit down and rest, tomorrow is work you have to prepare for office or whatever you do. Wife left you and you're busy spreading the news as though we can provide her or make her change her mind. Get ready to invite your mom or sister to attend to the children while you're out there doing your best to put food on the table. If for no moral justification she left you then so be it...but if there's something we don't know then you're alone in this...the fact is....you're alone in this! No one can help you...realize that! |

Yesterday I broke my own rules, I stopped to give a lady a lift as it seemed public transport was scarce. She was happy to talk, and in the short distance we drove, she already spoke about fixing her hair, she hadn't eaten, she would love to visit her mom...I stopped so she could buy something to eat, she too the money I offered to pay for the food and I didn't get any change back! That was when I knew so much has changed in the world!! Dropping her, she offered her phone number I took it and said I'll give her a missed call...I sincerely doubt i will... |

BATified2023: learn manual cos it's harder, there's no big deal about automatic cars.
Let me break down d difference to u
Manual U control Steering Gear Clutch n others
In auto u only control steering, no clutch n no problem with gear cos once u put am for Wetin u want na so u go drive am reach Kaduna.
But if na manual, there are rules
Once u want to move, it's gear 1 n so many basics And of course manual needs you to listen to your engine and master it's sound.... |
Phones › Re: Help Please: How Can I Retrieve My Powerbank. by jaszplus12(m): 3:15pm On Jan 01 |
saintbillion: Good evening my fellow Nairalanders.
On the 28th of December, I went to Access bank to request for a new ATM card. While waiting for my turn, another customer, an elderly man of around 50years reached out to me saying i should help him out with my powerbank so he can power his phone and set his mobile app of which i obliged. I gave him the powerbank, when the bank staff was attending to me; the old man left the banking with my powerbank.
I quickly remember and raised alarm. His form was later sort out and his phone number was called. He picked and said he won't bring the powerbank. He ended up blocking the staff number. I requested they give me his number so i can trace him. They refuse and said it's against their policy.
The powerbank is very costly. Pls what can i do get my property Seriously if this happened then I'm ashamed for the man. You calling him elderly man and saying he's around 50 years old makes me feel very old fa!! What will you then call me if you hear I'm in my mid 50s?? |

Kobojunkie: This from someone who never understood divorce for the solution that it has always been in marriage. 🥱🥱🥱 FYI, dated 8 years, married for 24 years to the same woman, therefore YOUR advice will never be at the forefront whenever I'll counsel anyone in marriage. |
Family › Re: Why Some Husbands Slowly Shut Down Emotionally. by jaszplus12(m): 8:53pm On Dec 25, 2025 |
Kobojunkie: Divorce is a legally valid solution to marriage. It has been around since the very first marriage between humans and remains a solution that marriage even to this day. 🥱🥱🥱
Again, endeavor to develop your language comprehension skills and also work on opening your mind so you don't continue to miss out the obvious even when right in front of you.🥱🥱🥱
2. Only the regretful seek divorce yet year in, year out, the number of those who keep embracing divorce continues to increase with some folks doing it several times in their one lifetime? Your summation on divorce obviously doesn't match the reality of things. Seems more like many more consider divorce the logical escape from a regretful situation in marriage. 🥱🥱🥱 My dear, thank you for your comments. I understand you even better now...your domain remains deep in an abyss of trauma troubled transition. Its understandable. |

9 budaatum: If men know this, perhaps they, men, wouldn't be asking Why does she feel distant. What happened to the connection we had.
After all, its not only wives who ask the questions you posed, since women too distance themselves from men who lack awareness, and don't put effort in, and who don't honestly repair their relationship with their wives. Thanks for being objective. Marriage involves both parties PUTTING IN and not just one party. Many are the things that buffet marriage. Unfortunately many enter into it thinking it's a bed of roses! Soon the honeymoon period is over and marriage begins the journey that only the mature can foresee and forestall any negative actions consciously or otherwise! Pride and arrogance will drown the harmony, patience and positive determination to keep up together will help sail couples through. Encouraging one another helps rather than listening to "smart" people who tell you to dump your partner because he or she didn't meet your expectations! Go ask those who have left their marriages, there's a lot to contemplate... |
Family › Re: Why Some Husbands Slowly Shut Down Emotionally. by jaszplus12(m): 8:22pm On Dec 25, 2025 |
Kobojunkie: you ain't even half as smart as you think yourself to be if you were not able to figure that instead of OPs suggestions that women labor in vain/suffer in marriage with such obviously immature specimens, I would rather women be encouraged to seek divorce from such marriages. 🥱🥱
2026 is a brand new opportunity to prioritize acquisition of language comprehension skills.🥱🥱🥱 You see, the smart you didn't proffer solution, what you did was to take away the scaffolding that would be used to guide any marriage. But I don't really blame your sense of comprehension of marriage or even the logical reasoning put forth by the OP, your one direction mind just engaged gear and roared off!! I like your advice though, cos it floats around yet only the regretful will or would need to it! Yeah, awaiting a brand new year so you can have a rethink when asked to advice on marriage. Good girl... |
Family › Re: Why Some Husbands Slowly Shut Down Emotionally. by jaszplus12(m): 6:04pm On Dec 25, 2025 |
Kobojunkie: Nonsense! Why should it be the wives responsibility to police an grown arsed man's emotions for him? If a man emotionally disconnects from his marriage, it should be his responsibility to detect and immediately correct himself.
Abeg normalize divorce and stop pretending men are adult children women need to take care of in marriage...the same marriage these men are supposedly leaders/heads of. No wonder sex goes out the door after a while with women eventually realizing their husbands are no different from their own children in that they too need raising.😩😩😩😩
Normalize divorce make women freely exit such relationships. A grown man still unable to do the basic inner work required of all adult humans needs a mother and not a wife and no woman's child should be burdened with such nonsense. 😩😩😩 The exact point the OP is trying to make is what you have just displayed!! Outsmarted yourself being too smart! 🤣🤣🤣 |

IMHO, I think no nation will treat treason with levity even the acclaimed biafra will not give in to such if eventually it gains its independence. Watching MNK rage rant and rigorgitate, one will understand his psychological mentality, he's one who loves to control, and any questions against anything he believes in is met with immediate retorts and he thinks that's leadership. To his supporters, please you're free to fight his course but do so with maturity and care. Things are not very normal allover the world at the moment.... |
