Invest gradually in the business so it can be your next job where you will be going everyday to keep your brain busy cos moneymaking and the stress that comes with it makes the brain active. Avoid sedentary life.


Religious activities is another good way to keep busy and build strong, reliable second family after retirement or towards retirement.



Bottomline, save, save, invest so that with or without kids, you can still take good care of yourself and your responsibilities.


I just pray for long life and good health, I know my old age with be very sweet, sweeter than my youth

Dear Nigerian ladies, please stop birthing more than 2 kids, whether they are all girls or boys doesn't matter, they are all kids.


The days of looking for a male child is gradually going extinct cos most people no longer live in the remote villages where they want to have a male child to inherit their farm lands.


Boy or girl, train them well, wherever she is, as they tell her story, your name as her father and mother will be mentioned and that's enough. Besides dead people don't know who inherited their name abi wealth or not.


Too many kids can reduce ones lifespan whether rich or poor. If you think money will fill the gap, they may end up becoming societal vices that you will forever regret having.

I strongly believe that 15 years from now no one will advice anyone about number of kids, the world economy will be the "adviser"!

Funny enough, it's mostly women, Nigerian women especially that insist on having more kids. Some see it as a great achievement while some want to have a battalion of children to discourage their husbands from ever thinking of marrying a second wife

I tell whoever cares to listen never to have more than two children, some listen, nod and ignore my advice, in fact one guy avoided me for almost a year, he couldn't bear it till he came to me asking for forgiveness, shocked I asked for what, and he told me he'd been avoiding me because after the talk we had he impregnated his wife again and he regretted cos money was hard to come by!
And yes, mostly it's the wives that continue to get pregnant for one reason or the other but tell you it's your fault when it becomes hard to take care of the family!!

But guess what, I am enjoying the fact that they feel I know all....and we're all good!!
I tell myself I have to enjoy myself with them as the best thing that I can treasure! Phew!!

Whenever i am around my children dont allow their mother to prepare them for school or bath them. They will insist i bath or prepare them for school. I do it with Joy. Even if you wake up on time as a mother to bath them, there is one child that will make her shout

You said it all. Most of the things we call training here is low-key abuse. Screaming, body shaming etc. such child won't even function well in the society. I had a friend who suffered so much abuse that will always kneel down even while talking to her mother on phone. Y'all call that training.

But what's a man to do when you wait for her to get ready for an appointment by 9am and she begins to tell you she needs to look good so she's taking her time, yet you can see it's 8:45 already? Men just simmer in silence, but when dealing with children mothers begin to foam from the mouth about how the children are "deliberate in causing delays"
Know this: if you choose deliberately to make it fun for the children they will surely make it easier for you... but choose to bark and shout, watch them do you in!!
If you care to know, I'm a father of now grown ups and I know I did a lot to observe what will make them happy in the morning...I put my wife aside and helped them prepare for school daily...I saw they always smiled going out unlike when their Mom was in charge!
