I have and will ALWAYS support sex education in schools : Right from nursery classes. But such sex education MUST be suitable for their age and tailored for each stage of development in their life. I hate it when parents tell their kids that their peni.s is 'Tom' or 'weewee' or tell them that her vagina is pumpkim and stuFfs like that. Or a girl of 10 is left in dark about the changes that are occuring in her body. Some parents out of ignorance and shell dogmatism will say such children who receive sex education will get 'spoilt'. Such Fallacy!!! I believe in giving people the opportunity to make INFORMED decisions. Tell them what they need to know and guide them to make right choices, because if you don't their friends will help you misinform them. |
