abbeywasc:That looks like pterygium and its likely inflammed already. Its usually caused by environmental factors like sun, winds, dusts, uvrays e.t.c. Drugs can give u relief from the symptoms u are having but such symptoms can re-occur in the future. The other option is to do pterygium excision/removal. Its a more permanent solution, although There is a possibility of the pterygium growing back even after surgery tho. |
Cheadiva:Where u given the injection inside ur eye? |
demelza:The say Love is blind...her own has become a reality. The poor irresponsible dude couldn't even take her to the Hosp. Some guys are heartless. He deserve jail. |
ireneony:My eye? What happened to my 20/20, emmetropic ,orthophoric eyes? |
ireneony:If u see the eye eh, I swear u go lose appetite. Make I describe am small for u...the eye was swollen, the blackish part was white (Cataract), pus discharge e.t.c ....ahhhhhh, u can't even wish ur enemy that. LOVE is really Blind. |
pretydiva:I thought about that, but I didn't know if it would be the right thing to do. Didn't want to interfere in their family feud. |
Modified : Sorry I posted this thread twice, so am closing the other one. Ab025, aristocrazzy, elantraceey. Thanks for your comments |
EroticAngelina:EXACTLY. I dont know why some girls do some very silly things in the name of love. Honestly i almost cried when the mom started weeping. |
This is a pathetic case I saw in clinic today. The ONLY reason am gonna share this, is just for others to learn, Especially GIRLS !!! Be careful what you do in the name of Love. Don’t just love with your heart, love with your Brain too. I will not disclose any personal information of the patient because that’s against my professional ethics. Miss T came to the clinic with her mum. She is a young lady of about 19 years old, living with her parent, student, 7 months pregnant, blind in the Right Eye and with some other very complex issues that I felt like weeping for her. In the beginning she didn’t want to open up until I insisted that I can’t help her until I know what happened to her. At first she said she had hit her Eye against the wall, but being a professional and after detailed eye examination I knew she was lying. Finally she opened up and it was shocking. She is a student in one of the tertiary institutions. Few months ago she got pregnant for her boyfriend who is also a student. The Guy wanted an abortion but since they both discovered it late, the girl’s parent refused. The guy then told her that he will have nothing to do with her and her baby. That he was no longer in love with her. Three (3) months ago, her irresponsible beat her up and punched her eye so hard that the eye was bleeding. The painful part is that the parents were not so financially buoyant and therefore couldn’t give her proper treatment. Instead of going to a good Eye clinic or Hospital, they went to buy drugs and Eye drops. By the time she came today, the Eye has become so bad that it will take extensive surgeries and long term specialist management to give her any hope of saving that Eye. According to the mum, she had to borrow the money she came to clinic with today. When I told her the estimate of the treatment, she broke in tears. I really pity the mom. I kept wondering why a jobless student should impregnate a young girl, deny the pregnancy and go ahead to beat her up to the extent of giving her a blind eye. WHAT KIND OF STUPID LOVE IS THIS? Although I didn’t not say this to the mum, but Personally, I would have suggested she get the guy arrested for battering, assault and perhaps sued, until he foot all her medical bills. Let me know what you guys think cus this is really so sad. PS: This is NOT the real picture of her Eye...but that was how it look like.

I really wish to see His Excellency Great-grandpa Jonah Jang and his family. |
Amaechi....baddest guy. He looks like a womanizer tho. |
churchboy004:Hehehehe...hilarious !!! That's 'common-sense-gone-too-soon'. |
@1st...I wanted to ask 'who sold cheap weeds to op', but after reading his comments I think I got the point he's trying to make. However I don't support the idea of creating artificial distance in order to preserve the relationship flavor. Intimacy is a 'bio-pyscho-emotional' need, and whether u get familiar or not, when the need arises, u wuldnt compare ur wife with ur sis in any way. |
This wat u get when gullible shepherds are leading ignorant sheep. That's y I hate religious bigots and fanatics.., Some of these once-unemployed-now-turned-fire-brand-pastors are the greatest culprits. #Know_God_for_thyself |
smudge2079:There is nothing like CONSENT with mad people. If u doubt me, then try to enter a mutual agreement with a mad person or loan some cash to a madman after u must have gotten his "consent" and tell me if any court will recognized that !!! What dat guy did is termed 'rape', even if it was the mad woman that seduced him. !!! |
The 2nd pix is very funny...I couldn't help but to laugh. I was wondering what the mad woman was saying !! . Anyway that dude is sick and mentally derailed too. Haba ! I don't mean to debase women but for an amount less than his lunch money he could have had a decent (abi na indecent sef) sex with a prostitute. |
My answer will depend of the total packages which I will check b4 d interview : housing allowance/free accommodation, over-time bonuses and health insurance and stuffs like dat. If those are in place, then I can start with 180k-200k |
I don't really support gurls fixing eyelashes cus of some adverse effects....Although I have seen a few who actually look more charming wearing scanty eyelashes, the greater percentage of wearers look like masquerades; more like they r wearing chicken feathers in the eye. |
Dreyl:That word reminds me of my Northern friends....they like saying dat "bah" thing |
iamodenigbo1:Beauty is in the eye of the Beer-holder !! |

Laykorn ,Babe2sure, TiffanyJ, blackbeauty, dyoungstar, kingzpen, divepen, others : I am a die-hard lover of books and I am building my own personal book library. I really need links to threads on Nairaland where people discuss and review books they have read. So that I can have some insights before buying n reading more books. I don't read NOVELS...but I love inspirational, motivational, business, career, religious, and any interesting book at all as soon as I can expand my knowledge base and increase my intellectual capacity. Am not good @ starting n maintaining discussion threads on NL I would have started one. Thanks. |
SeverusSnape:I was at the brink of shedding tears but I just held back when I read the ending of that novel. I used to read a lot of novels back then. |
