Feygbe: Reach out to your contact, ask for the receipt, they'd back date it for you. Go with the document so the names really match. |

Feygbe: You have the information you want to tell CIC, you can get a format by searching here on this thread, that's what I did. The major thing is the opening and closing information, the body is just yours. What you'd be paying them for is the typing. What I did, got the relevant information, who to address it to, the heading and who to sign amongst other info. Searched and got this info here, you can look for my post. Go to the court and sign it, get a notary too but do ensure to get an official receipt from the court cos you have to upload that as well. Negotiate well with the guys who will assist you to take in for signing, roughly 2,000. Hope I did answer your question well enough. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Hello Guys, Congratulations to the past and current recipients of (P)PR. I do really imagine the great number of talents, skills, people etc, leaving this country for a better life. It's well with Nigeria. My only plea is try not to forget your motherland. Keep this nairaland family tight, this unity we've shown here, take it outside this forum. A new Nigeria is coming, I see it and I do believe in it. I still await My (P)PR. I'm staying positive too. I celebrate with you all, as I'm expectant y'all will also celebrate with me. Have a great evening people. 11 Likes |

LordSebastian: So worse case scenario for her getting it before/after PR is how many months? |

LordSebastian: Planning on getting married before moving... So is it easier to add wifey after getting my PPR than waiting till after PR, That's after completing the whole process. . .? In plain English, should I wait till I get my PR or before I get PR to add wifey? Hope my question is clear enough... Phew. |

Boss13: Thanks @Boss13. Can you give an estimated timeline? I know it differs for individuals. But I'm guessing from what I've seen, that medicals is usually the one with the longest waiting time, am I right? |

Morbolar: For your first question: Bank statement is fine but you'd also need to explain why you didn't provide the letter as requested by CIC. Even if you do get the bank letter, the content might not be exactly what CIC requested for, thus you also explaining in your LOE. My advice: Try getting the letter from the bank, it shows you tried complying with CIC's request, but if you don't get it or the letter doesn't reflect what is requested, you mention it in your LOE as well. For the second question: It doesn't hurt to prove beyond reasonable doubt the source of your funds. This will give your VO the impression you've got nothing to worry about. My advice: Get whatever document you need to prove the source of your funds to avoid any issues. The founding elders can also share their thoughts and experiences on this. 1 Like |

Hello house, Here is my scenario, for each section I uploaded all the documents related to it. Like for POF, I merged the bank statement, bank letter, gift deed etc as a document and uploaded. Looking at some posts here and other sites, some mentioned they merged these documents with their LOE. Which is preferred or more effective? I know there's no one way to do this, but your thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks in anticipation. |

behati: Just some misguided thoughts making me second guess my decision. Don't want to make a mistake. Trying to get as accurate as I can get. Thanks for your response. @40manlappy For the LOE, I know there's no particular format, I'm planning to use sections for each required upload. Is this approach advisable? 2 Likes |

Guys, For the POF, which is better, the requested financial profile or six months statement? Bear in mind, the account balance hasn't been up to a million. It spiked up to about three million in one month. Is there a way to go about it? |

Ehrnie: Gotten it. Thanks Will explaining every attachment make my application look weak? Cos I only have a little challenge with POF which I have a good deed for as supporting document. Which is preferred, the specified cic letter or 6 months bank statement? |

Hey guys, Concerning UK Police certificate, Please how long did it take to get it, using a UK address? |
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Java47: 1:28am On May 21, 2017 |
Currently waiting for my police certificate for UK. Thinking of my LOE for POF. 1. Not printed my POF, cos I want the cash to stay a while, at least a month before I print my bank statement. Is this safe? 2. After completing the form, can someone else login and make the payment for me? 1 Like |

elfmann: I'm Not a banker but from what it's on CIC site it says balance of account over six months, doesn't this mean statement of account, i.e. transaction details: credits and debits? Or just a letter stating the balance with other info required? |

kay2011: The highest transaction is what I reflected in the gift deed, the other huge amount is from my other account. Which can be proven with bank statement, all other payments were broken to the maximum of 200k. One from a company account, the other from personal account. Others below 200k. I've got a registered company with cac certificate I intend to attach what doo you think? |

kay2011: I have all the forms used for the transfer scanned, and will attach them too with the gift deed. Quick question, people owing me also paid me, and was also paid for some other personal jobs i did (website development etc), but no receipt for them as it was via transfer from personal accounts and one from a company account. How can i handle this? The tune of this is actually below 300k. . . I'm exploring all the options i can use. Thanks. 1 Like |

Babachi: At the moment the person isn't around. And getting the bank statement and letter really won't be possible. Isn't the gift deed sufficient with the LOE? cos now I'm worried. 1 Like |

Babachi: This ain't funny y'all. Gift Deed is supposed to assist with that na. I'm waiting for it to be almost month so I can apply. The funds came in less than two weeks, the account hasn't gotten much credit above 100k+ for about three months and the maximum it ever got is about 900k. Now I got 1.6m from family and did some deals with a couple of people that were owing me also paid back. I only did gift deed for the 1.6m. Please what do you guys think? When is it best to apply? My 60 days is due in 25 days time. Help is needed asap. |
