and for those who say i am not a website designer/developer because i use templates. let me arrange that statement properly.

a client need a cms site running on joomla or wordpress, this site has a magazine layout of net-a-porter.com and s shopping layout of gilt.com and this project is not limited to fashion only, but a versatile of niche. within two weeks and need a custom work.

due to the TIME and BUDGET involved, is it a bad idea to use a PAID( not free) template and customized it to perfect the need of a client? and i don't see using template a bad idea for timed projects. even big firms use templates. even you and you, use templates. one way or the other you use one third-party scripts or the other.

my guy, going legal wont help matters just refund her the money and the case ends there...Shikena!...Getting a lawyer will cost you much more than 25k...And will end up telling the world how incompetent you are...

Also @vanelly1 i envy you because not many women know much about web-design as you do...atleast you've shown you can't be easily fooled...

@vanely1 but atleast there was progress which means he was not scamming you, if he was, he wouldnt have taking pains to even start the design talk more of repeating it when you rejected the first design...like i said he is at fault but you are over-reacting..A little patience would have done you two good

I have been following this thread for a long time but havent made any comment yet because i wanted to hear fully from both sides, and it seems there was no issue of scamming here, it was just a little misunderstanding.
@wemaster i find you at fault for deleting her from ur facebook friends and not picking her calls because i'm sure that was what instigated her anger....and i'm also sure you did it out of anger/depression(if the story of stolen property is true). You also share some blame because i myself wont be happy to hear that my site is down whatever the reason may be...You were paid and its your Job so you are fully responsible...
@varies1 i think you were controlled by anger and motivated by a third party which is likely why you took things this far...after buying a domain, and giving you upto 90% of your site and hosting it....you should have given him time.
@wemaster i advice you give her the domain and refund her money to prove your dignity and clear you conscience.
@varies1 when he has done this you should render appologies to him in this site to clear his name since it was just a mere misunderstanding

Hmmmm...IMHO...You guys overate PHP....The only reason why 50% of web developers work with PHP is that it is easy to learn...why dont you explore other languages before you come to conclusion that ''PHP is King of the Web''. What PHP can do ASP, Python, Perl, JSP, Ruby etc can also do and in terms of security PHP sucks. In my opinion JSP is better than PHP.
