Please I have a Friend who went to the US as a student. She has completed her study. Her status hasn't change. She now has a child while in the US. She will like to apply for study permit in Canada.
My question is: since she is in the US, will she go through the same online application as people in Nigeria that does not have Canada embassy there or will her application process to come to Canada be an interview at the Canadian embassy in the US?

Please I need help in extending my study permit in Canada. My visa and study permit was approved last year August 2022 and would expire by April 2023 because that's when my passport validity expires. I have gotten a new passport here in Canada and would like to extend my study permit to cover the duration of my studies. But the problem is: I cannot see the application for my case on the IRCC website. I only see the application for changing of school. Please has anyone encountered similar issues?
I need assistance urgently.

Please I have a flight schedule for next week. The flight details is: Delta Airlines, from Lagos to Canada. There will be a stop at Atlanta, USA.

My question is: I only have a Canada study visa. I am not a Canadian citizen or Permanent resident. Will I have issues stopping in the US as I am aware of the transit visa requirements. The flight was booked for me from the US. I have argued with my relative that booked this flight that I believe I will need a transit visa to stop in the US and she had to call Delta Airlines in the US and an immigration officer in Atlanta Airport to find out, and they assured her that I won't have any issues. But I can't deny I am still a little skeptical about this. Please, has anyone fly to Canada through the US without a transit visa?

I received my ppr some days ago which I shared here. In it, I was informed that my passport must be valid for the duration of my expected length of stay in Canada. Unfortunately, my passport has just 8 months validity, which is not up to my expected length of stay.

I therefore need to do a new passport ASAP because I have less than 30 days to submit my passport. I believe we all know the difficulties and delay in doing a new passport or renewal now. Most of the immigration office in Nigeria have no booklet at the moment.

I met someone(immigration officer) who told me that they can do an e-passport for me at their own office and it will take just a week to be ready. I just want to ask, does Canada accept e-passport?

After a very long wait, I finally got my PPR yesterday 10th of August. I pray The Almighty GOD grant every applicant their heart desires too �.
I submitted my application February 22, 2022. Did biometric February 24th. And that's when the long wait started. But thank GOD it ended in praise.

However, I was told that I will not be issued visa that is beyond the expiry date of my passport. My passport has just 8 months to expiry date, which means that it will not cover the duration of my studies. I need to do a new passport ASAP. Please does anyone has a way of helping? I am in Lagos.

Please I can not access my IRCC secure account for sometime now. I submitted my study permit application since February. The last response I got from IRCC was in March, to confirm that I passed the medicals. My biometric was done in February.
I am worried because I haven't received any mail from IRCC and my application has gone past 15 weeks.
Please how do I track my application or send a message to IRCC to confirm my application status?

Some days ago, I was denied visa at the US consulate Lagos. Now, I want to reapply for another appointment date at the Abuja embassy but the CGI page is showing me that my passport is still at the US Embassy/Consulate. I don't know what this means because I have my passport with me.
Also, it is showing that there are currently no appointments available.
Please, how do I book for another appointment date before the resumption date of my school in August?

Yesterday I was refused visa at the Lagos consular. It was really heartbreaking but I have decided not to give up.
Please I want to ask; can I reapply less than 3 months after visa refusal? Maybe apply to Abuja embassy? My school opens by August 22nd and most of my documents remain valid.

I submitted some wrongly filled ds160 and later submitted a corrected on..... my questions are; will the consulate still have the wrong ds160 in their database?...Will it be an issue for me on the day of interview, contradicting the corrected ds160?... Can the wrongly filled ds160 be cancelled or deleted before the day of interview?

Please can someone tell me what to do as a matter of urgency... I did online application for Canada study permit. I have uploaded all the needed documents and all that's needed is for me to make payment for my application to be completed but my payment keeps getting declined. I believe it has to do with maximum amount exceeded in my debit card.

Please is there any other method of payment online apart from using a credit card?

Please, with the recent placing of Nigeria in the red list by the Canadian government due to the omicron variant of covid 19; is application for study permit still ongoing?
If it's still ongoing, please can someone help me with the application process? I have gotten all my documents ready but I am having issues completing the application form and uploading the documents. I completed the form but cannot validate it. Can I print it in hard copy, fill it, then upload it?

For the upload, it is stated that the maximum size of file should not be more than 4MB. I compiled various documents in one file which is not up to 4MB, but I still cannot upload it. Instead, I can only upload one document at a time, and if I do that, the next document I upload replace the previous one. I can't seem to upload the file at once.

Please, 3 years ago, I tried to apply for the US visa using an invitation sent to me by my brother. Though it didn't worked out but I had already paid visa fee and scheduled an appointment.
Right now I am trying to apply for a student visa in one of the institutions. I have paid for visa fee but I cannot schedule appointment date because I was notified by the site that my information is already in their database and if I would want to reconcile it to avoid double applications. I tried to reconcile but that's where I am having problems. Please, has anyone experience this kind of issues. I will appreciate some advice because I don't have much time to schedule an appointment date...
