This should make the FrontPage too to balance the earlier post. In a sane country, Daily trust should be sanctioned for that earlier report. The publication of fake news against IPOB is becoming too common.

Their will be no sanction against Daily Trust because they put the blame on IPOB even though its meant to incite tensions against Igbos in general. Since Buhari declared IPOB as terrorists anyone can say or do anything against Igbos under that excuse.

Even on Nairaland any animal can insult Igbos and use the word IPOB as a cover and the mods will excuse it as not being an insult against another tribe

Satan gives his followers wealth through foul means to pepper children of God who are following the good path to prosperity. After I finished NYSC a guy into yahoo I knew, was driving an e-class benz but thank God I wasnt tempted to join him even though I was always hungry and broke.

I dug deep into by bible for encouragement and practised giving to those less fortunate than me grin (I was very broke o). God opened doors to me and I got a humble job, eventually I got a great job in a bank and began to steadily rise and now I am a family man with peace. The yahoo guy is still single and still lives the same kind of life he was living more than 10 years ago. I pray for him today to be more like me unlike when I wanted to be just like him. God's time is the best.

Music/Radio / The Story Behind Bob Marley's Zimbabwe Independence Concert by jayflex: 7:39am On Jul 11, 2016
NATTY DUB IT INNA ZIMBABWE!

Two Zimbabwean businessmen, nightclub owner
Job Kadengu and Gordon Muchanyuka, wanted a
big name to serenade the new Zimbabwe at
midnight on April 17, 1980. Kadengu and
Muchanyuka agreed Bob Marley was their man.

The two flew to Kingston, Jamaica, to invite
Marley, just weeks before independence day.
“Chris Blackwell, his manager at the time, was
against this tour, but Marley, who had been
following events in Zimbabwe, decided he would
go,” says Fred Zindi, now a professor at the
University of Zimbabwe then, one of the Marley
dreamers.

“He hired a PA system in London and
paid for his freight to Zimbabwe at his own
expense.” Marley had inspired Zimbabwe.
“During the years of Chimurenga (chiShona for
uprising), Bob Marley’s music had been adopted
by the guerrilla forces of the Patriotic Front;
indeed, there were stories of ZANLA troops
playing Marley cassettes in the bush,” says Zindi.

Religion / Power And Importance Of Forgiveness by jayflex: 9:46am On Jun 22, 2015
When my Lord was beaten, tortured, nailed to the cross and close to temporary death at the hands of the very mumu ppl He descended to and downgraded himself to save, He asked His Father to forgive them for their ignorance. Luke 23:34. Not long after that He succumbed briefly to his wounds and the trauma, descended even further into the abyss, overthrew that small boy satan and saved us all.

Its my humble opinion that forgiving his murderers was probably one of the keys to His overall victory. Similar to His resisting the temptations by satan earlier in His earthly ministry.

My people, forgiveness is a very powerful force and is one of master keys to ultimate salvation. Matthew 6:14-15 is very clear on how far -

14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

In the mighty name of Jesus I pray that we All beat the satanic trap of unforgiveness. Nobody is worth going to hell for.

Music/Radio / The 14 Best Songs Of 2014 by jayflex: 8:22am On Dec 26, 2014
2014 will go down as one of the most interesting years for music followers and artistes alike. It was a year in which many new artistes got their foot in the door, while some not so new ones threw down statements of intent to rule our airwaves and playlists for as long as possible.

Its never easy sieving through thousands of truly amazing songs to draw up a list of just 14 but we kept our focus with an eye on originality, production lyrical content and attitude to give you Kizaro's best 14 songs of 2014. We wish y'all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year!

14. Patoranking Ft. Tiwa Savage - "Girlie o" Remix

Patrick Okorie's career ascended to new heights this year after his monster breakout song Alubarika put the Dancehall crooner on the map big time. Girlie o, the follow up song took the music scene by storm and stayed on rotation across the country on Nightclub and Radio playlists for months. The song caught the attention of Mavin Record Label First Lady Tiwa Savage who lobbied her way into a remix of the song that blew us away and earned the No. 14 spot on our list.

13. Nico and Vinz - "Am I Wrong"

The Norwegian duo of Kahouly Sereba and Vincent Dery scored breakout success with this addictive head nodder of a track about individuality and the importance of chasing after your dreams. Kahouly (Nico) and Vincent (Vinz) of Ghanaian and Ivorian ancestry infused their African heritage into the song with a thumping drum roll, emphatic guitars and passionate vocals that leave you in awe of the musical depth that these two guys bring to the table. Am I wrong turned out to be the surprise hit of the summer and was number one across Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. It also went Platinum in the United States with a million copies sold by June 2014. The beauty of the song is the sheer seriousness of the lyrics and earnest vocals diluted by the catchy beat and instrumentation. A classic piece of work and the best song out of Norway in almost thirty years.

12. Davido - "Aye"

Davido tore up the charts and airwaves in 2014 with his uber love song. An effortlessly charming track that describes unconditional love from a dreany eyed female. Though pilloried and scoffed at by critics for its puppy love lyrics it was a massive hit and Davido's biggest song of 2014.

11. Joe El Featuring Tuface - "Hold On"

Kennis Music artiste and Tuface Idibia sound-alike/disciple released this inspirational smash hit in the company of Tuface Idibia himself. Joe El born Joel Amadi in Kaduna State achieved his dream by featuring his idol Tu Baba on this track. Splendid song with uplifting lyrics and a meaningful message. Definitely one of the best songs of the year and a welcome departure from the champagne and booty fixation the music industry and fans alike have been fixated on.

10. Runtown - "Gallardo"

Douglas Agu aka Runtown marked his spot in 2014 as the artiste to watch with Gallardo. The Enugu state born singer burst into the limelight with this song featuring Davido and hasnt looked back since and has come a long way since he featured on tracks for Phyno and J Martins few years ago. Probably one of the most played songs in years and one that leaves the listener trying to wrap his/her mind around the unusual but addictive traditional infusions.

9. Wiz Khalifa - "We Dem Boyz"

Trust Wiz Khalifa to deliver an anthem every once in a short while. We Dem Boyz marked a shift in style by Khalifa from his regular stuff to a more Dirty South/Atlanta Crunk format with a light auto-tuned flow. A critical and commercial smash from a rapper on top of his game and bold enough to tinker with his already successful blueprint.

Politics / Jebba Explorers: Park & Lander by jayflex: 3:47pm On Oct 01, 2014
Nigeria’s amalgamation in 1914 was the culmination of centuries of voyages, journeys and the likes by European journeymen led by the British whose footprints across Nigeria are still part of our landscape.

The Park-Lander Obelisk in Jebba, Niger State was erected by the British Government in 1929 upon strong request by the ubiquitous Sir George Taubman Goldie and Lord Scarborough, Chairman of the Royal Niger Company, though completed by Sir Hugh Clifford years later. It was in honour of the voyages of Mungo Park and Richard Lander though the voyages of both men were separated by more than three decades, together they traced the course of the River Niger from its source to the sea in the name of the King of England

Business / Re: Nigerian Bank Customers Soon Able To Deposit In Accounts From Any Bank by jayflex: 8:12pm On Jan 09, 2014
coal_coal: this sounds really interesting. how true is this please? and when is this likely to take effect? I presently do most of my banking with GTB and the queues could be crazy

This is very true and it will take off soon. The people at Beyond Branches are trying to get it started as soon as possible. Its good business for them at the end of the day. There will be a service charge of course wink
Business / Nigerian Bank Customers Soon Able To Deposit In Accounts From Any Bank by jayflex: 7:06pm On Jan 09, 2014
Nigeria's premier electronic switching company, Interswitch Limited, is set to take advantage of the cashless policy to make life even easier for the banking public. This is courtesy of its partnership with an cashless banking backbone agency, Beyond Branches.

The impact of this latest "igede" is simple. People who need to make deposits in a particular bank need not labour or journey to locate their own bank to make the payments or deposit cash. They can pay money into any bank and the account will be credited. Simple as ABC! This is similar to being able to withdraw cash from ATM machines whether it belongs to your bank or not with no extra charge. Imagine lower transport costs, shorter journeys, and avoidance of banks with notoriously long queues among other benefits.

North America is currently experiencing a record drop in temperatures among a couple of other records of sorts including a convict who successfully broke out of a Kentucky State prison and begged to be re-arrested the next day.

Robert Vick
Robert Vick, 42, escaped from a minimum security prison in Lexington, Kentucky, USA and fled into the harshest weather conditions Northern America has seen in decades. Vick took refuge in a barn on a night that Arctic winds plunged temperatures to -20 degrees.

Music/Radio / Top 10 Best Wedding Songs Ever by jayflex: 8:42am On Jan 02, 2014
A Wedding day is one event that every married person never forgets and the wedding songs have a way of sticking in the minds of couples. Even after many years, hearing the song played at your wedding always jogs your memory to the day you got hitched.

Kizaro's Blog has compiled our very own 10 of the best wedding songs of all time. Enjoy and let us know your favorite wedding song.

10. Drake - 'Hold On We're Going Home'

Canadian rapper, Drake had the idea for a wedding song that would last for ever. While its just a few months old, its classic retro 1980s synth-pop beat and syrupy lyrics has made it hugely popular and the choice of many wedding Dj's and marrying couples alike.

9. Tosin Martins - 'Olo mi'

Gospel artiste, Tosin Martins gave us this masterpiece in 2005 off his debut album and it was in heavy demand at almost every Nigerian wedding for years.

8. Cameo - 'Candy'

Popular 1980s R & B/Soul Band , Cameo released this in 1986 and while it was a good love song, the band were known more for their less emotional and more raunchy material. However the 1999 romantic comedy movie "The Best Man" shot the song back into reckoning when the main characters performed a charming dance routine at the end of the movie. The movie spawned plenty of copycats routines in a couple of weddings this writer attended .

7. P Square - "No one be like you"

The Okoye twins gave us this out of their 2007 album titled "Do me" and it quickly became one of their most popular love songs ever. It was written as wedding song and is one of the most played Nigerian songs ever at wedding receptions.
