Variety has released their Top 20 TV Series Of 2017, and I gotta say, it's quite a little baffling and a little satisfying.

20 - Mary Kills People (Never heard of this show till now, and since it's on Lifetime it makes sense, since I don't patronize any show from that cable channel at all. Their shows most often than not tend to be too soapish for my taste)
19 - One Mississippi (I thoroughly enjoyed the first season of this Amazon show. Glad it made the cut.
18 - Wynonna Earp (Tried several times to get into this show as it's highly rated, but just couldn't. Maybe it's the titular character or just the general atmosphere of the show... there is something that seems utterly pretentious about it that turns me off Every.Single.Time. But quite a few people loved it, I guess - hence it's 18th spot on the list.
17 - Black-ish (Might not be the funniest show on tv, but, if there is one thing it has going for it, it's consistency. Should be higher on the list imo)
16 - Fresh Off The Boat (Another consistently witty show that should be higher on the list)
15 - Big Little Lies (Okay, whomever compiled this list be trippin. What! Should be a top 10 show in the very least.
14 - Insecure (Well placed)
13 - Handmaid's Tale (Should be higher)
12 - Superstore (Should be lower. A quick swap with Fresh Off The Boat would have worked wonders for the credibility of this list)
11 - Into The Badlands (Hmmm... the second season kinda lets it down, else, it would have been a top 5 show of the year)
10 - Brooklyn Nine-Nine (I used to love this show, don't anymore. Still a top comedy anyhow, so...)
09 - American Vandal (Well placed. This show did a fantastic job of trolling Making a Murderer. Lolz. Top marks.)
08 - Alias Grace (Hmmm... quite too literal for my taste. If I wanted a literal story, I would read a novel. Should be lower on the list: a quick swap with Handmaid's Tale would have worked)
07 - Better Things (Season one: outstanding. Season two: meh. Should be lower)
06 - Jane The Virgin (Haven't seen it and have absolutely no interest in doing so, so ought not to judge. But, it's a CW show, so... automatically, it should be MUCH lower)

This is sad indeed. I just saw this same letter, attached by someone on Nysc's official facebook page and the NYSC account replied to the plea with "The school has the time table"
meaning they probably can't do anything at this point. I don't understand how UNN allowed this kind of mess, because I am sure they had all the time to compile and send this list, yet they delayed Now making the students suffer for it. I suggest you all keep pleading in all platforms, just maybe NYSC will reconsider.

Unn does not send fresh graduates for any batch that is not A. if you had issues but was to graduate in 2016, or you wrote a first semester non final course this year. then you can expect to be mobilized for this batch b.

That you like a character shouldn't make you bias about another, when one does something stupid, it is ok to call them out, but when they change and do something worthy. It is also ok to give them the credit. It is just unfair to keep judging the character based on his/her previous mistakes. Sansa was born with stupidity as a blanket but she grew to shed that cloth off. She is still making mistakes yes, so is everyone else. Your goal in school is to acquire knowledge, whether you are rewarded for doing this or not, shouldn't even be a priority. Except if the lecturers are found wanting or something like that. I honestly do not see reward as a core motivation for a student. My opinion though.

You know every episode they start with showing us how a god came to America, how the people that worship the gods move to America, with their belongings and their religion. So that episode started with how Jesus of Mexico came. I think that part, they tried to replay the Jesus story as it is in the bible. Like in the bible Jesus walked on the sea, as you also saw 'him' do in that episode. Jesus was killed by the jews, his own people, as you also saw Christians with rosary shoot him in the series. Jesus died to save man, as he did in that episode. He took a bullet for the man and his family. if you've ever seen a picture of the sacred heart of Jesus, you will see the similarities between the shape of the heart in the pictures and the shape of the blood that stained the cloth of Jesus in series when he was shot. Also the series Jesus died with his hands spread out like it did on the cross. I hope with this few points of mine I have been able to convince you and not to confuse you that Jehove bu Eze kajard! lol

I think the few episodes I have seen are really good, the producers what you to feel the way you are feeling, irritated and angry. they will later feed on that feeling when the women starts to fight back. I don't think this is an anti feminist series, I suspect a lot of women power raining will soon fall on us from the series. I also think that before this picture of submissive women they now paint, there was a time when the women tried to fight back but lost or got killed, so they are now low key plotting their take over.




oh and on American gods. the guy playing Anubis is a Nigerian... Chris obi or so.
