awa: Another Revd. Father Mbaka in the making. Only God will deliver this nation from Sycophants parading as Oracles of God. Dear God these ones are leaving the works you assigned them to perform the works of Politicking hollywater: Why can't mr Bakare face his calling (the preaching of the Bible )than one leg in politics another one in the Church? Maybe he should become the new EFCC Chairman. omolami: I advise Bakare to face his task of reforming people through his sermon in the church and forget about venturing into money politics among politicians which he knows little about. When the chips are down, he will realise that Buhari's actions are scam to decimate the opposition #Trash #alertLAWMA #KeepNairalandClean. @Op, let's watch out for unfolding events. it's almost certain the CBN governor is complicit in this arms scandal. *modified* So many ppl keep spewing trash here... saying Emiefele acted on the instruction of Jonathan, like the money he allowed out of the federation's account were Jonathan's. Since when did the CBN governor become the personal bank manager to Jonathan and his cronies. One can quickly deduce from these trashy comments that, some Nigerians will sell Nigeria, as long as it is an instruction from their boss.I can't really fathom why the messenger is always attacked and the message is left to waste. ehissi: Please, I will like all well meaning Nigerians to please like and share the pictures posted below this comment I have quoted - it has el-rufai and Buhari at different times, visiting and offering condolences to the leader of Shia islam El-Zakzaky during Jonathan's era when the military and El-zakzaky clashed - now both Buhari and el-rufai call him a terrorist !! The picture show Buhari before he became president and El-rufai before he became governor!! When the Nigerian Military clashed with Shiites, killing El-Zaky sons during Jonathan era, el-rufai called it genocide and blamed Jonathan personally!! The same clash repeated just last year here; this time El-Zaky himself was taken andmany shia folllowers were killed. El-rufai was quoted as saying this time that "He has been made to pay for his sins/crimes"!! Both men, El-rufai and Buhari now insist that El-zaky was running a state within a state!! The real question is this; if it was true that El-zaky was a terrorist - running a state within a state - ; why didn't they admit it when Goodluck was in power?? Why did they take out time to visit a known terrorist and offer condolences?? Is it possible that they wilfully supported/partnered with el-zaky when Goodluck was in power just so they could win an election?? These are the same men that clamoured and are still tactically clamouring for amnesty for Boko Haram!! Pictures like this should be taken seriously; lives have been wasted, innocent lives in this conflict with terrorists!! These men cannot be trusted! Today it is North-east and middle-belt (already the streets are on heat in Jos tonight), Tomorrow it could be lagos!! Today it is Northern muslims/christians dying; tomorrow it could be southern muslims/chrsitians dying!! Supporting/partnering with Evil all in the name of creating propaganda that will guarantee your political ambition/career will only kill this country!! We are not Evil Propagandaists, we are not Terrorists, we are not dullards, we are Nigerians!! #QuoteMeAnywhere# Bro, calm down and tell us how you could tell that, those were condolence visitations from the photo, because, in the picture of him and Buhari, there is a banner that clearly reads Development program. |

Only the truthful at heart will speak the truth. well done Op. I'm from the South and most times when I look at how backward the region is, despite the allocation from the FG and also the CSR package from most of these IOCs to their host communities, I weep, not because another region placed us in that predicament but because the very same people, whom we share the same language and culture with, did. And so, on behalf of my corrupt leaders, I take responsibility for the backwardness of my region, most especially the host communities.
I mean what better feeling could there be, than bringing your people out of poverty and making them the envy of the world, what? But No, they'd rather stuff the money in far away countries and present themselves as gods, kings and queens to be worshiped and adored, annoyingly they're worshiped and adored by the very same people who should stone them to death. |

Some camps have smaller rooms crowded, and some camps have larger rooms crowded!! Some camps don't even have toilet/bathroom facilities. I had my orientation course(camp) in Lagos and the camp has rooms divided into rooms with almost 30people in a room, the rooms also had two tier bunks and there were wardrobes to put your possessions in too, though this didn't go round everyone in a room, only those who came to camp early enough. Lagos camp has running water and the toilets (WC) were working, also the bathrooms had showers working too with significant hours of electricity, especially at evenings/nights. Guess we were lucky! ronald4lif: Prof. Sagay goofed bruv. As a constitutional and seasonal lawyer he should have known that the recent agitation for Biafra doesn't reflect the larger population of Igbos.
Nnamdi Kanu and his clandestine radio outfit has been in operation long before Buhari became president and the recent Biafra protest is mainly to seek for his release. There could still have been protest if he was incarcerated by GEJ.
I'm not holding brief for the injudicious protesters but they represent only a little fraction of Igbos and shouldn't be a criterion or touchstone to imply that Ndi Igbo as a people are antagonistic towards Buhari coz they lost out in crucial portfolio in his government.
What Prof. Sagay imputation means is that, Buhari intentionally sidelined Igbos from his government, for whatever reasons, and suggesting that mr. President is against national cohesion, he's a factional leader and sowing the seed of division in a country that should be united. I'm sure and want to believe Buhari doesn't share his view. I see your point, nevertheless, threat to the man's life is not a proper response and you should also condemn that. |

One thing the average igbo man can't be intimidated ....well I pray they don't hurt this man Can't be intimidated, so, they remedy the situation by intimidating and threatening others? if they had challenged him openly it would have been different, doing so secretly is what is baffling. well, I blame the prof for speaking on the issue in the first place. He expected too much civility from them, that was his error. |

Excellentmind: You really deserve more than a death threat for leveling such a weighty allegation against Igbos, out of the frustrations you have found yourself in Nigeria. Your recent outburst has more than meet the eye as Igbos are not the cause of your frustration and yet you choose to attack them out of hatred. And Nnamdi deserves a pat on the back for calling Buhari a tyrant? Right. |

Doyle stated that the equipment needed to be serviced and fixed with good spare parts before they could start operating. “The repairs of the vehicle is up to the Nigerian government to do; they can repair them on their own if they have the facility to do that, but of course, the spare parts are very particular to this vehicle and we have been in discussion with the army previously and we are working out the modalities of how we will get those parts to them. “They will have to order those parts from the United States and we will work out those conditions. Chai!! Na my con3 dem take mop ground so? At the last emboldened, hope the US won't sell the spare parts for $11 and $7.4 million respectively. We are grateful to them, for generously discarding what they have no need for, to us. The US representative said the vehicles were been given to the Nigeria Army because the US no longer have need for them. “We are getting rid of the vehicle and the reason we have the Excess Defence Article Programme is that we are downsizing forces in our military. We have left Iraq with our forces and we have downsized our forces out of Afghanistan; we do not need all these vehicles anymore, so Nigeria asked for this vehicles and we gladly provided them,” he said.
