Getting scared at the numbers won't help at all, we are already expecting it. Check to see why they discriminate in the first place, whether there are religious or cultural grounds. It may belong to a certain sect or order in membership or ownership. Things that may or may not be openly revealed.

When this news first broke a few years ago I did ask if Nigerians raising hell were free in their own country and whether we did and still do discriminate against one another in all walks of life. We should be the last to complain about such things.

Errmm, it's majorly airborne (droplets from sneezes, Coughs of infected folks when inhaled and any means through which it can get directly into the human system. I don't think it penetrates the skin directly to the blood streams, but, who knows?

There's no rule book to parenting - I and my siblings had similar experience growing up, guess what? It worked only on me. She saw it and adjusted her disciplinary approach. I still remember how it all happened last Sunday evening, when I mistakenly came across a post by NwaAmaikpe. In the post, where he took time to eulogize the Almighty God first, then after, asked God vehemently for something on behalf of and in the common interest of his tribe world wide. And that is - God should make Mercy the BBN winner above all other tribes in the contest, same way God made Daniel won above all others in Babylon. One of the rare times I've ever seen NwaAmaikpe's post so serious. He wasn't joking.
At first I hissed at what manner of parody and ridiculous post that was. But, to my greatest surprise, not up to three threads from there, came the thread of Mercy emerging the winner of this year BBN.
I mean, that was so fast. I hardly believed my eyes. NwaAmaikpe's prayer answered by fire within a moment. I stand to be corrected but I think that will be my first time ever to see a live miracle on social media.
One thought after another and on and on, then i realize that life has been really good to all. Everyone getting satisfied with what they want. Life keeps granting some people the BBN wins they desire, while some keeps getting the presidency they want. One dominating BNN since the beginning, another dominating presidency since the beginning. Every one keeps winning in their respective areas. Everyone is a winner.

BBN belongs to one, presidency belongs to another.
Reasons why we should thank God for what we have and each should stick to it's area of blessing and not critise or covet what belongs to another.

Apologies if you feel insulted, believe me, it isn't the intention here. God knows if I were an atheist, I would not struggle others into my belief in any fashion, because it would only expose my lack of confidence in that belief.

When you believe in something, you are calm and confident to the point that you can stand alone believing and still be at peace with yourself. There is never the unnecessary need to convince people.

But I have noticed a lot of atheist always go out of their way in trying to convince and most times confuse others into their fold. It makes me wonder what battle they face internally over the belief they hold. But we are humans bound by time and I believe it will prove us at the end.

where did you pull your data from? You are entitled to your unbelief, but, don't influence others to. I have seen children also who cry and disturb their parents about attending school.

It is the peculiarity of the situation that matters. A child that is enthusiastic about school, suddenly wakes up one day and is refusing strongly to go that day should raise a red flag in the mind of any right-thinking parent. Now, it may not mean that something bad is about to happen when they act this way, I am just only trying to point out the peculiarity.

God is not a magician, if he was, He would have suspended the building. This sad event occurred because of man's wicked (greed, selfishness etc.) nature.

Now, little children are more alive in their spirit to God. They can be prompted in their spirits when certain negative occurrences are about to take place, but, when they try to make us see it, we are always so busy in our head to even listen. I have heard one too many stories that corroborates this fact.

God is Spirit and if He must direct you from harm, He can only do so through your spirit. That is why Christians are encouraged to grow to the point that when God impresses something in your spirit you just can't deny that it is Him speaking. There many people that have had an uneasy feeling about traveling on a particular day, bus, etc and got spared from a disaster that followed, there are many testimonies on this.

If you find out now you would be surprised that this child could be a school enthusiast, but, for some reason he just didn't want to go that day.

God will not do anything for humanity unless somebody ask him. He has given us Dominion on earth. God will not allow a disaster of this magnitude to happen without prompting the spirits of those that are His to exempt them from this, but, most of the time we are just too busy in our heads and our minds.

Now, the truth is, the tenants knew the building would collapse one day, but, were probably expecting God to come down and give them the day and time. What about the parents who were bringing their children to school on a daily basis? Did they not see the structure?

God did not create a brainless human being, however, when we fail in using our head, He still tries to help us, but he cannot do so if we don't learn how to listen to him from our heart/spirit.

Breeding resentment against God, doesn't change who He is, He is still the I AM THAT I AM. He is merciful as we can see, there are survivors still.

Why reference from a book you don't believe? Why expect to be saved by a God you don't fear or reverence or believe in? Don't allow the devil deceive you.
Dominion was given to man from the beginning, but he lost it through the deception of the devil, but, thank God for salvation through which our Dominion is(can be) restored, when Jesus is allowed into our hearts.

Now, in response to the Op - God does not allow these tragic deaths. Entertaining these thoughts, is allowing the devil to create resentment in your heart towards God. Remember that he is subtle. The Truth is God still speaks and guides His children away from evil, but, how many heed to his guidance? How many of us (Christians) grow spiritually to the point that we can hear Him when He speaks? How many even obey Him when they hear?. Don't let the devil deceive you to point accusing fingers at God for what he has done.

We should rather continually ask God to help us Know him more and more and to be obedient to his voice that's the only thing that guarantees a sorrow-free life.

Fact is, before any tragic event that involves God children happens, somebody somewhere has been prompted to take appropriate steps. Either the person directly involved or somebody that can do something to prevent or exempt that child of God. Believing otherwise is allowing the deception of the devil to take hold of you.

I recommend that Believers should get the teaching series of Kenneth Hagin of blessed memory, titled, developing the human spirit or get the Book and read.
