With series of shameless fights and scuffles, the corrupt nature of Nigeria's Legislature is no news. But, Wole Soyinka's recent comment in an interview on AJazeera (5/4/2011) rather shocked me. "Nigerian Lawmakers earn more than the US President"- W.S. 

Who is this loud-mouth arm chair critic? You give NL readers an indication that you are not entirely destructive, but from your posts, I have seen that you are bent on presenting the fourth estate as totally useless. Why don't you make a (never would be) appreciated effort by posting some ethical, upright and world class news reports by Nigerians?

I know UK lecturers that cite works of Nigerian journalists, and offer same as study materials to their students. I need not mention the list of international awards Nigerian journalists have won: a long list.

Also, your light speed at spilling abuses and cheap curses suggests a misinformed, untrained, PS playing, Nappy-wearing teenager. If only you would be civil enough to post a self written 500 300 100 word piece on any topic to prove your erudition.

Now they will purchase huge generators to power the facility and post heavily armed guards to protect tourists,  right?

Did they even bother to find out what has become of that massive tourist complex built by D.Duke in Rivers before commiting to yet another white elephant project?

By the way I would rather have the amount paid out to Legislators, than left in d hands of the executive. Legislators don't stack money in foreign accounts, they spend it here and add to the GDP.

They don't even need their full sight to see that the politicians are reaping Nigerians off. The difference which I am so happy ti identify with is the openness of Sanusi. #SANUSI ROCKS MEHHNNNNNN!!!!

The opposition stand of ACN enables it to embark on meaningful projects that touch lives across it's states. This is totally lacking in the 'allknowing' PDP(share the money) group. Up ACN>>>UP FASHOLA>>>EKO O NI BAJE
