MalcoImX: And another thing is: Tinubu is your enemy. Why should he make a Hausa man President, Yoruba man VP and he couldn't even make you the Senate President or Speaker of the House. If he cannot do that why won't he give you small Lagos? All he did was to start the the process giving you mere commissionership when he was governor. He and Fashola must be disgraced for this almajiri pittance. IGNORANCE .Not a single member of the APC Including Ngige was voted into the senate so what kind of magic do expect tinunbu to perform. From your post you seem to me like a ignoramus with little or no knowledge of Nigerian politico |

Politics › SHOCKER!!!!! APC Refuses To Accept Any More Defectors by Jaypea98(op): 11:01pm On Apr 11, 2015 |
John Oyegun, the national chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), said on Saturday that the gale of defections by politicians was not good for Nigeria’s political development. John Oyegun According to Premuim Times, Oyegun spoke to newsmen in Benin shortly after casting his vote. He advised those defecting to the winning party to form a formidable opposition to enrich the nation’s democracy. “Many opposition party members have defected to APC just because they lost out, that is not good for political development. “One would have advised that opposition members should stay where they are, and form a formidable opposition party,” Oyegun said. The APC chairman described the governorship and houses of assembly elections as “the most decent, orderly and peaceful” ever conducted in Edo state. Meanwhile, Oyegun won the election in his polling unit. Oredo East: Ward 2, Unit 1 Polling Unit, the first time since 1991 when he was elected governor. Politics › Re: Oba Of Lagos Outburst, A Master Stroke? by Jaypea98: 9:14pm On Apr 11, 2015 |
Obiagelli: This is the first time i will be commenting on the speech by the oba of lagos, to the average person or mind, it is a ridiculous statement, but looking at it from a political lense, it has become a case of the more you look, the less you see.
The Pdp The oba's statements to the best of my understanding was not a public one, it was deliberately leaked by agents who taught it could be used to the advantage of the pdp's candidate in lagos since there is not religious cards to be played, ethnic card they jumped at it. (they never learn)
The Apc The apc was thrown into disarray, they momentum of winning at the center had suffered a setback, while many rushed to denounce the statement, the strategists saw and opportunity and they helped LOUD to music (forgive my english)
The Igbos As expected, they were mad at the statement and rightly so, they also didn't fail to overblow it. It is expected that the igbos will give 90% of there votes to the pdp but something amazing happened in the last few days, i have seen more igbos (influential leaders) sit at the same tables with Apc chiefs (this would never have happened without this crisis) i have seen many igbo leaders accept apologies and even endorsed the Apc candidate. I have seen igbos in Apc wears and campaign buses around ladipo and alaba.
The yorubas We expected the yorubas to give 40- 30% of their votes to jimi agbaje because a lot of them had chosen to vote the Apc at the center and the pdp in lagos, like it or not jimi is also yoruba BUT the tide has turned, the direct attacks on their Oba and the claim that lagos is no man's land coupled with jimi's overly courting the igbos at their detriment has irritated a lot of them. The yorubas won't do a shouting match, they act with a devastating bile (ask gej)
Jimi Agbaje Agbaje also played to the gallery by making silly statements rather than being gentlemanly since the ball was in his court, he displayed obvious influence from bode George and obanikoro, this is not the jimi we know but the god's father push.
Obiagelli I am indifferent to both candidates, as my fanatic support for the apc does not go beyond buhari and maybe elrufai and fashola. I can't wait to see the results.
VOTE NOT FIGHT. So OP In essence. the PDPROpagandists shot themselves in the foot |

Abayhormy: Do you know the Federal Govt takes about 54% of the nation's revenue ? The states share about 46%. Lagos despite having about 20million people to cater for and all the federal infrastructures abandoned for her when the capital was moved to Abuja, it takes just 55billion anually as allocation while Akwa Ibom recieves 135billion, Rivers 99.67billion, Delta 95.77, Bayelsa 82.04, now tell me, which of these other states have achieved what Lagos has achieved under the genius of Tinubu and Fashola which has been her past/present governors?
Do you know at a point, for years, The federal government wthheld lagos state government allocations totally and Bola Tinubu and Ambode the then acountant general of lagos state had to work together to be creative and work out the genius of running lagos? Just consider the level pressure on infrastructure in lagos, consider the demand for social amenities and compare what lagos gets to these other states and the FG. Mind you, lagos does not have oil revenue, and the Nigerian ports revenue people usually refer to are going to the federal purse. Nigerian Ports Authority is a Federal Parastatal. Somany people confuse it to be a source of state revenue. As at now, FG is owing Lagos 40 billion. |

This thread was created inoder to finally bare my opinion Officially about this raging tribal issues between the Igbos and Yorubas.Because just like GEJ would say 'this is just a case of water poured into a kettle the kettle overfills and the water begins to pour away'. I'm Igbo but i am very thankful to the Yorubas for their support and accommodation. For God's sake even if it is impossible for the Oba to drown us all in the lagoon there are other ways of frustrating us through tribalistic means BUT THEY HAVENT!!!!!!. These guys never retaliated when a poor performing state government such as that of Abia sacked all non indigenous civil servants at a point in time and no one shouted ;but we took up the defensive shield when destitutes were deported forgetting that indigenes of Osun Ogun Oyo states indigenes were also casualties of this program . They reserved our jobs and abandoned properties for us even after we lost the civil war unlike our so called brothren in the South South who developed profound hatered against us .After the war we still overzealously tried to take over the South Wast but were stoped in Ore by Colonel Benjamin Adekunle (Black Scorpion) and his men Yet they did to us the opposite of what our brothers from the north would have done. Yet in appreciation for their kind gesture we called them cowards and their land 'A No Man's Land' and 'A Colonial Settlement'. Forgetting that they existed and were flourishing economically eve before the arrival of the colonial masters. My people please be wise no other tribe in this country has and would ever be as accommodating and "IGBO Friendy' as the Yorubas |

BRITISH ANTI-MASTURBATION DEVICE, LATE 19TH CENTURY In the West, until quite recently, masturbation, particularly among males, was thought to rob the body of vital fluids and energy. This model was worn as a codpiece and was designed to be worn under clothes. . I 'm sure Nigerian ladies would mind if these device was created with locks specifications for their promiscuous boyfriends.
