Keyin: This is a good decision. Enugu North don't have a good hospital. When I was there schooling late 2000 in UNN it was difficult to have access to a good health facility. The only hospital in the entire Nsukka is one Bishop Shanahan Hospital, a missionary hospital that was nt even a standard hospital and private clinics. People over there use to travel to Enugu for better health care. It is good to better the life of people in that area by given them a good hospital i n the name of ESUT TEACHING HOPSITAL. Please let Governor do the needful to commission this project before he leaves office. God bless you for saying that fact. |

Ades1234: Surprise that Enugu is just building Teaching Hospital, has old as Enugu what a shame, The capital state of old Eastern region Enugu was once the capital of Eastern Region, East Central State,Anambra State, Old Enugu State, and present Enugu State...that is 5 different political arrangements. These 5 five different political arrangements have their Teaching Hospitals in different locations outside the Enugu City....which would always be inherited by the new state carved out of the one having Enugu City as capital each time a new political arrangement comes up. |

Great.
Let the Governor pump in more resources to complete the project as soon as possible, maybe before the end of 2021.
And there is the need to build students hostel, staff quarters and lecture auditorium too
Thanks be to God. |

Politics › Re: I Am Not Igbo - Wike Clarifies Confusion About His Name And Link To Igbo by JB4life: 9:51pm On Nov 12, 2020 |
gidgiddy: Ikwerre not being Igbo all depends on the Ikwerre you meet. An Ikwerre man and former Governor, Chibuike Amaechi, will tell the whole world that he is an Igbo man. Another Ikwerre Governor like Wike will say he is not Igbo
Meanwhile, an Ikwerre man called Uche Okwukwu is Ohanaeze Secretary general while another Ikwerre man called Elechi Amadi wrote a book to say Ikwerres are not Igbos
I don't blame Gov Wike and other ikwerres denying their Igbo Identity.
I rather blame those disturbing the peace of Ikwerres who said they are not Igbos,by reminding them that they are Igbos from time to time.
Its for Ikwerres to go and sort out whatever identity crisis that has engulfed them |

The rest is history. Those who know what they are doing usually look before leaping, and hardly regret their actions. |

Education › Re: IPPIS: Government Can’t Use ASUU Platform To Pay Us — University Workers by JB4life: 9:46am On Oct 13, 2020 |
Iolo: Based on my readings, yes it will reduce in a nutshell but mostly because ASUU has gotten its way and negotiated certain favorable terms IPPIS is no longer recognizing. In some instances, obtaining these terms makes no sense in the first instance, in other cases they are legitimate issues that I believe can be fixed on the platform as other agencies have been using it long before now.
1. A number of universities have bargained PAYE tax reliefs with their state governments. IPPIS deducts according to the accepted standard by law.
2. Some allowances being received by them are not captured by IPPIS.
3. IPPIS makes certain deductions like NHF, meaning take home pay is lower across board.
4. They won’t acknowledge this but some of them work multiple jobs with multiple salaries. IPPIS prevents this using BVN.
You’re caught up now. U nailed it. |

Flogging of misbehaving youths by priests as a correctional measure have been happening from time immemorial.
What is special about flogging a boy who has been warned severally to desist from destroying priest's farm.
My brother, don't ever support evil deeds because of karma.

When people accumulate curse for themselves, they would be blaming everything else when the effects of the curse begin to manifest.
If they are so much angered by the priest's actions, the most honorable thing is to report the matter to the Bishop.
Beating a Catholic priest after trespassing on his farm is very sacrilegious.
May God have mercy on us. |

Education › Re: Buhari: Only University Lecturers On IPPIS Would Get Salaries by JB4life: 3:40pm On Oct 08, 2020 |
samuelpeters: Agencies that generate their own money are not under IPPIS because they(agencies) determine their workers salaries and every other allowances. Infact they remit money to FG like FIRS,NNPC,CBN and others. Those under IPPIS are MDAs that depend on FG for funding of any kind which sadly universites fall under. Don't look at it from that perspective. Those agencies like CBN ,FIRS,NNPC,customs,, immigration,NPA,NIMASA,etc that are generating huge revenue were established and empowered by the FG to do what they are doing, just as public varsities were also established and empowered by FG to render their services too. So,since all are public establishments, there should be some closeness in terms of SALARIES and allowances. It should not be equal because of peculiarities of job specifications, but the gap should not be more than 50 %. |

The fact remains that misunderstandings ,no matter how trivial or gross, are indispensable in marriages.
However, those determined to stay married in that marriage will patiently and prayerfully DIALOGUE to resolve the misunderstanding, and continue with their marital life, unless it is a case of UNREPENTANT INFIDELITY. |

showafrica: Yea, the temptation comes from been a celebrity and not marrying a very rich guy. Women heart are soft and vulnerable to temptations. She just discovered she is no longer getting deals and brands while pocket is drying up fast. Nothing frustrates a woman pass lack of money no matter how good she claims to be. The worst is her single friends will be brandishing there latest range rovers from different senators while she watches her beauty fade away bc of child rearing.
Lesson to guys, before you think of marrying a celebrity, just make sure you are sth close to Ned nwoko in terms lalas and sth close to Kidwaya in terms of strength and sth close to Ozo in terms of love and affection and sth close to Prince in terms of physic. In fact you have to kill yourself in order to successfully marry a celeb otherwise, no put hand. You summarized it well that you must kill yourself in order to successfully marry a celeb otherwise no put hand.... Your submission is quite instructive. |

The More closer your Home is to God! The More Love you Have for each other.. The More Closer your Home is with God, The More Secured your Home is..
Your post is so beautiful. However,I would like to add that both the man and the wife must be complementing each in prayers ,good manners and works, for the marriage to succeed. No matter how good or persevering the man may be,if he marries a woman who is not ready to be looking inwards and also be complementing his efforts ,for better, for worse, the marriage would not stand. And vice versa. May God have mercy on us and bless us with complementing spouses in Jesus Mighty Name.Amen. |
