The southern part of Nigeria keeps fooling and overrating themselves. The North doesn't talk too much while achieving developmental strides.

Name it, they're ahead in almost everything except western education. They have better infrastructures and neater streets.

Remove Lagos and maybe one or two other states from the South, the rest na rubbish, especially the SE.

On a serious note ,the type of developmental projects executed in Kano State since the return of democracy in 1999 till date is too monumental.

AND THEY MAKE NO NOISE ABOUT IT.

They understand the real meaning of PUBLIC GOOD in terms of CAPITAL PROJECTS , especially DAMS, ROADS, INTIMIDATING VERY LONG FLY OVERS, UNDERPASSES, AND MODERN MARKETING PLAZAS here and there.

Kano is really next to Lagos in terms of economic growth and development.

Many businesses will shut down on or before Tuesday deadline if there is no extension.
People have started rejecting old naira notes whereas the new one is not circulated yet. All the blame goes to CBN that is formulating a policy that will take medium time for full implementation within a short time know that level of literacy in Nigeria is very low

Let them shut down for now and get up better later .


This is the best policy by CBN and Buhari.

Nigerians like to act stubborn until they realize they can't beat the government. The same thing happened with NIN, the obedient ones did for free but the stubborn ones paid money to get NIN. I really hope CBN won't extend the deadline. 3 months is enough to take ur money to the bank and what's even wrong with transfer? You don't need to have 200k cash at hand. Use Mobile app, USSD etc. I so much love this new policy.

Much as some abuse the great gadget by using it for criminal or immoral acts, the advantages of using the gadget for accessing useful information and for communication of certain information by responsible students far outweighs the disadvantages of abuses by irresponsible students. Higher institutions have teaching, learning and research as cardinal areas ,and all these are enhanced by smartphones.
They should reconsider the policy.

We are saying the same thing oh…they make a lot of money from this palm wine business….a cup of palm wine was sold for 700 during the festive period.

You guys really don't know how much things have changed. Most appliances these days are energy saving. They will certainly make use of inverter air conditioners, energy bulbs, and same goes for other appliances.

Batteries now have longer lasting capacity than before. Solar panels can last for 20 years! Since their lift will be working during the day and considering the vast number of solar panels, their won't be much drag on the batteries. Of course, they can't waste energy by using both lifts and escalators at the same time, they will go for one only.

And who told you that many firms and estates aren't using solar systems already?

You can't even compare the cost of using PHCN and generators because solar is far far cheaper in the long run. The only challenge Nigerians are facing is how to pay for the initial huge cost and lack of awareness.

I have been using solar system both at home and in the office for years now and I know how much I have saved, running into millions.

Solar is taking over for real good.

The only caveat (or exception) to this conclusion is situation where the girl blamed her mother for leaving her father, and quarreled with her mother about it. In that instance the mother is NOT her role model, and she would be fine.

Reno is wasting his time, Atiku's chances are very slim in this election. If Kwankwaso continues campaigning strongly in the NE and NW, he may eventually overtake Atiku and end up in second place behind Peter Obi, which means:

1. Peter Obi (winner)
2. Kwankwaso (runner up)
3. Atiku or Tinubu

When I travelled to my village during Christmas and New Year celebration this year, I spent about three weeks at home ,without " NEPA" light, yet enjoying uninterrupted power supply for lightings at night, charging my Android and other phones,charging my Torchlight and my radio,etc all by SOLAR POWER , made possible through silicon-based solar panel and lithium-based battery.


Lithium and silicon which are so abundant in Nigeria are really the new oil.
