A few things to note in my application. I stated I was opting for the test to release scheme on day 5 after arrival. I didn’t want my holiday duration to run more than 2 weeks.

So far you paid for your appointment date + assisted service,

Ensure your documents that aren’t in A4 size are made into copies of a4 size

They would help you scan and upload all your documents.

Make sure you get there on time if not, they’d make you pay for flexi appointment which is an additional 42k

Asides that, you’re good

I want to opt for assisted service but there’s no appointment date
But there’s appointment dates for self service ( I don’t have the facilities to upload that’s why I want the assisted service)

Do I select a self service appointment? Can I override not uploading the documents online and then pay for assisted service at the Centre ??

The reason I said day 6 is cos based on the UKVI website, it counts from a day after you land. To my understanding that’s day 6( though could be 5 for some) that’s how I understand it.

All the information you need is on the internet do a bit of reading and research and don’t just take people,s word for it.The test is day 5 not day 6.
Makes more sense to reduce to 14.

I cannot advise you to change your dates but i can tell you that Test to release is day 5 so if it’s negative on day 6 you are free to roam around.

I can also say that £129 (74K)you will pay for it,you can use to shop in Primark and buy gifts like chocolates/Souvenirs for people back home....or go to the stadium as i know you men and your football!!!.So you choose.

Test to release means you take a test to get out of isolation a few days earlier.
I did not take the Isolation into consideration my brain calculated wrong.
We going on June already and Boris Johnson speaks month end on the virus so we knows isolation may be scrapped totally depending on a few variables.

I selected 18nights as per 10 days quarantine/self isolation.

Or aren’t we supposed to quarantine/self isolate for 10days?? I saw someone here got refused cos the V.O said the 10 days he planned on saying is just enough for isolation.

18 nights is a long time to go away on holiday but fine if you have a particular reason like work bringing you here.
Your Canadian COpr would have expired so technically you don’t have a pr but you should state it in additional information to show your travel experience.
Typical response time is as early as a week to three months.
