Modified: I'm of the opinion that if we start consuming local products, most of our challenges as a nation shall be solved. Take this local rice consumption for instance. Apart from the fact that it is healthier and more nutritious vis-à-vis imported rice thereby solving some health challenges, it has the potentialities of employment generation, food security, GDP booster, industrialisation etc. I've started eating more of Ofada, Abakaliki and Gboko rice than those almost-expired, imported rice.
