MODIFIED: I think it's high time we looked into how to incorporate our traditions and cultures into modern realities and not leave them in the hands of crooks and outlaws to be desecrated. Oyimbos know how they sell halloween to us while the Chinese regulates their own 'egungun' by centralising it and organising cultural displays. I'm of the opinion that there should be certain laws guiding masquerade display and organisation like certain dates of the of certain month as they do in Yorubaland. It will be a source of generating income to state govts.
