I read D. O. Fagunwa's novel while growing up then but lost it. I had to look for it last year when I was receiving lectures for early African writings in the course African Political Thought. It's good to study history my people because it will elevate u above ethno-religious sentiments.if govt is desirous of ending ethno-religious tensions in d land then d subject History (esp of Nig) should be reintroduced and made compulsory in our schls frm primary to higher institutions. While not holding brief for govt and as well playing down conspiracy theory as could be deduced from the thread and one post here, I think we need to consider the demographical and geographical factors here. It is an open-secret that Boko Haram's breeding ground is Bornu state, so, by default the state and her neighbour would be feeling the pressure more than other states. I think BH's resources cannot sustain extended attack from Bornu to Sokoto, the distance is too much, that is geographical factor. As for Demographical factor, BH's tactic is to target heavily populated areas to attack, if u're conversant with population distribution in the north, u will agree with me that the states mentioned are not endowed in terms of population hence the 'snub' by BH. Katsina is highly populated but I think the homogeneous nature of the state is her saviour.

The DSS is engaged in a brawl wit DMI for 'securing' Aso Rock instead of her constitutional roles of intelligence gathering and foiling any attack against d state. My judgement is dat dese ones should serve in DMI or DSS for 6months while receiving a fraction of dia constitutional salary. I rise, court!

Stupid gov. Aregbe fumbled big time, he embarked on too ambitious projects Without taken d lean purse of d state into consideration. Well, politicians think of next election while d leaders think of next generation. Aregbe belonged to the former class, he was thinking of 2nd term and dis did not let him think of the future of d state. Now dat he has d 2nd term, problems started propping up.
