Would anyone have an idea if the new scheme of 15 hours for 2 year olds effective from April is public funds ? The application opened yesterday and my son’s nursery has asked us to apply.

Yes you need to show proof of fund if your COS is expired. You can check the date on the COS originally issued to you

To your first question, yes, it was difficult for us because only one of us was working at the time. Part of what helped us was we agreed to provide a guarantor as requested by the landlord

My LL requested to have only the name of the person working on the rental agreement but I doubt if there are major issues with this.

I'm actually referring to the exit letter you attach to the application. My application was cancelled by Stanbic as the letter I attached was not from my former employer.

So I want to get the letter from my former employer and make a fresh application.

Oh alright, exit later must come from your employer to your PFA directly. In most cases stanbic sends email to your employer to respond and confirm you are no more with them.

I wil advise your employer sends to stanbic and copy you.

Thanks for your response, I only just it now. I wanted to clarity regarding the exit letter. I later drafted a letter and made the application which was cancelled as I later got to understand that the exit letter must come from my former employer.
I have requested for it, yet to receive it though.

I don't know about this. For me, I just waited till I ticked some of the regular boxes (like having bills in my name, registering to vote etc) before applying for my personal AMEX
