A well crafted SOP on reapplication should solve this issue. Explain why you have chosen the area of studies. Perhaps a crises in life or a new found epiphany and mission in life caused you to switch career field? How are your studies gonna add to the future development of Nigeria, you should talk about. You should also sufficiently document home ties that will induce your return back to Nigeria. Good luck.

@Nicolea, Yes I did, I got a mail last week that my admission was successful and that the acceptance latter will be uploaded on their website by 10th may2017. So am waiting till then to download the acceptance letter and to proceed for account opening and visa appointment booking, hope urs is successful too ??. I will be glad to have a Naija broda in the same class oo... I have already pm you..

1.What is the cost of the tution fee?
2.Have you made proper arrangement with regards to fund if you are asked to open a blocked account within the shortest possible period you intend starting your course?
3. I would suggested you start your program in September or October as the case may be.that will give your time to make arrangement ..

How can you start the course in may, when you are still in nigeria without visa....is it an online programme?

High court is accepted by uni assist.

You can only apply for winter semester.....summer is gone.

@ Austinpee4 and others that responded, thank you for your input. In addition to that, since have been delayed few weeks back, what's your take, as i intend kick starting a search for school/ course related to my UG/ 5-7 years of work experince? ahead of jan 2018 intake?

1.Depending on the program you are going for, age MAY or MAY not play a major role in ascertaining your chances.

2. Having travelled both to canada and other countries and returned home to nigeria will also give you some edge.

3.Doing a certification just to show course match may just not be enough. You have to also explain why it it the right program for you, how it will add to your current activity(ies), why you intend undergoing it in canada rather than in nigeria and how it will give you progressive advantages careerwise or academically.

These are some of the things you will have to make officers understand convincingly. They already refused you and any additional information or circumstance MUST significantly show and clear any doubt about your study intentions.

Gud day guru in the house, I was delayed recently after throwing in my study permit application. Have read virtually all the post on this thread, I know i caused my delay, based on course mis-match (purpose of visit)... However, what is the chances of applying again if not immediately considering below factors:
1.Age above 30? 2.having visited camny twice, and other countries in recent times 3 Did a certification course in canny, in other to erase the issue of purpose of visit when filing in another application.
