You can pick up any programming language in a short time as long as you know the fundamentals. At my new work, I had to learn c# cos that’s what they use for the backend, even though I’m more familiar with typescript and python. No cap, it took me days to learn c# basics, at least enough to learn .net core. So debating against being able to learn a programming language in a jiffy is countless.

You can use app.use() but you will need to specify the request type

And baba even tried to access a variable with const without declaring it. That’s why you just don’t jump to JS frameworks without being grounded in the basics. Op, go and learn Javascript well before picking up any other thing in JS

I did that. That’s not the problem. From stackoverflow I am getting a hint about heroku load balancer terminating ssl before request reach my app. Therefore my express seeing that the connection is not over ssl refuses to set the secure attribute of the cookie. And because the samesite attribute is set to none , the browser will not save the cookie because the secure attribute is not there. I think my problem now is how to tell my express app to set the secure attribute of the cookie whether over ssl or not. Can you help with that?

If you are using cookier-parser middleware, inside the middleware, include this {secure: true, samesite:”none”}… It will solve your problem

It’s because you didn’t increment the index of your box.

No matter how fullstack you, you’ll still be better at a stack than the other. You can’t be master of all. I do both both. I do frontend better cos I’m quite artistic and quite good with css.

It's cool..People might say it's too common to be a solid project, but a todo app is one of the best projects to sharpen your javascript skill. Just like an ecommerce project, it makes sure you use most of the basic javascript concepts. So kudos op. You are doing well.
