Pardon my mistake, it's a lake not a river. It's Oguta Lake in Oguta, Imo state. It's not scary as I paint it though, I just had a bad first experience out there.

LOL!! So that's what they call their water deities? Mehn, on that day, even with my deep knowledge of the salt and fresh water phenomenon, I was scared shitlěss. This wasn't even on the edge, it was right in the middle of the river. No sign of help. No close distance to the shore and I can't swim for shît. The urban legend that Arthur Nzeribe took his powers from the point where both waters refused to mix kept playing in my head, heightening my fear of the great beyond.
