It's the same as golf MK4, I use to do routine maintenance majorly on the tierods, I mean replacing tierods once in 3 months due to bad road network of the location I was staying. 5k for both tierod.
I changed the clutch plate once, about 3k for tokunbo clutch plate, 4k for workmanship.
I do service the car with 20w50 total, around 9k

And some little maintenance, though I bought vcds scanner at the rate of 10k from AliExpress for scanning the vehicle, and I do change whatever sensor that is malfunctioning by myself.
So I don't encounter any electrical issues since I don't give it to our naija quack electricians to work on it.


It's maintenance is quite cheap.
