thanks NAS please shed some light on it. is it like GMAT/GRE. are the questions course-based. do all graduates irrespective of course get to be asked oil/gas questions |
from the strength of their faculty, though mostly visiting lecturers, it should be the best in nigeria |
i agree with baryore. most quiet guys always have something that keeps them occupied. that thing could be an obsession too |
meanwhile some guys continue their chase becos they dont do some kinda self reflection to see the that their scope is not working |
i think it goes both ways just that girls are the ones that cry foul more. How many times have u had a guy who u just wanted his money while u kept a "REAL" man. or you have a boyfriend and welcome advances from a new guy expecting to use him as backup |
People should learn to be responsible for their misfortunes even if it was due to external circumstances. i personally felt bad when i knew i could not make a first class especially when i graduated and saw the likes of ericsson requiring a first class. I am the type who has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and was using MIT notes and big textbooks to read for courses i should have just crammed my notes. Back then in school, the way to pass was to use the lecturers notes and "give him back as he gave you". The exception to this was the courses taught by professors in which i would always score top marks. But i looked at it another way. Was i results-oriented? No. I worked for knowledge not grades. I hardly attended classes and never had notes so who should i blame? should be ME of course. First Class guys deserve their grades and i should not be jealous of them and at the same time shouldn't look down on myself because i couldn't make a First Class. A time will come when u find out that all these grades don't matter but with the attitude i have seen in some of the previous posters fighting against discrimination of 2-2s, it will continue to matter to them. discrimination is everywhere. HND versus BSC. 2-2 versus 2-1/1st class, 3rd Class versus 2-2, O levels versus graduate, state university versus federal university, Nigerian degrees versus Overseas degrees, Tech-Oriented courses versus Finance-oriented courses etc. Make what u can out of life. Do a masters degree. Write professional exams (hot ones o. no let them deceive u say NIM is hot ). The sky is our limit. |
i didnt vote but those guys are guys whose posts are matured, intelligent and well informed especially Ajanlekoko's. No surprise he won. I notice (from their posts) that most of these guys are Engineers/Bankers (Investment Bankers) |
the car na double silencer? |
ok thanks shekele. really hope the invitation is not over yet. i am looking forward to being invited |
pls i wanted to know if it was for the Trainee IT Professionals advert in the guardian newspaper on 22 october. i applied but have not gotten any invitation for test. was ur invitation by sms or mail. |
i used to blame most guys that continue chasing until i had an experience. I toasted a girl she said (or implied No) and with my take it or leave it attitude to dating i backed though continued exchanging pleasantries. a female friend of mine said i was a coward. That i ran away when the odds wre much. I dont expect u to like me and tell me NO because u are playing hard to get. if u say NO, i'll take ur word for it. No ill feelings towards u. Afterall, i might not be ur type. I have some girls attracted to me who are not my type and dont expect them to feel bad that i seemingly don't notice or reciprocate their subtle signs. Some girls just enjoy the fact that they are being chased. Even when they are not interested in the guy in question, they still allow him chase them while they complain to their friends that the guy is a nuisance. On the other hand, for those guys that girls embarass repeatedly and still fail to understand that she is not interested, i have this to say: "GET SOME SELF-ESTEEM". That belief that she will change her mind later is hardly true unless she sees u in a different light later maybe more money etc. Babe wey no like me b4 but come they like me because i buy car no be good girl for me. |
from my christian perspective. it is wrong for a man to cheat on his wife . we shuld do our best to be as faithful as possible. however, if u look at the world today especially Africa, it is normal for a man to cheat but a taboo for a woman. so when i hear ladies saying if d man cheat, wife shuld cheat too i just laugh. do u know that the make-up of a man has the "variety is the spice of life" gene. It takes a man thrice as much discipline and restraint as it would take for a woman to control her sex urges. Also, ask urselves ladies. dis men cheating are they not cheating their wives with ur fellow ladies. i know ladies who would date a married man if he's got class, style, confidence and maybe looks. ladies even go behind their friends to date his boyfriends. Ladies would give u signs and then recoil and pretend that u are disturbing them and that was why they gave in. am i dumb that i don't see ur signs. i am d guy so i shuld give d chase but u started it by droping ur subtle signs. |
Happy Birthday Seun. May d good Lord continue to bless u |
i'll advise poster to get to know d girl b4 sending any money. i know guys who pose as ladies to rip people off. I think he shuld ask the girl more questions abt herself to reveal any lies. |
if we face reality, we will realize that girls prefer outgoing (not too loud) guys. girls want fun and adventure and usually think (could be erroneous) that it is the loud guys that can give them that. Loud or quiet, i think the skill of diplomacy alone shuld tell us when to assert and talk and when to be quiet. i can't put myself in the loud categiory though i make people laugh, The thing is i am not going to change myself just because some girl prefers loud or quiet guys. the trick is to date those girls who like ur type. if girl date u not out of attraction then no be beter relationship. Another thing is not to stereotype people too early and girls are so guilty of these. i sometimes use this to advantage cos girls like enigmatic guys even if they won't accept it. quiet guys are able to pull enigmatic stuff. |
we are really doing well. i would however like us to work on our software design and engineering skills, project mgmt skills, user support skills and problem domain knowledge |
just follow what kobojunkie and the other guy said. you do not need to make ur application a windows service. i have done it many times. either startup folder or path to executable in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run registry key. |
does anyone know where i can get a label writer in lagos. |
i got this from an eye witness account India nigeria game ended 100-1 with the only goal coming from segun odegbami when the indians momentarily forgot to use their juju. but the indians made him pay for it by washing every account of the match from his brain cells so don't bother asking him abt the match. Everytime we want to kick the ball it turns to a rock and the Nigerian player is hurt. every time they kick the ball it turns to any of the following: (1) Lion (2) 100 balls (3) snake (4) fire (watch shaolin soccer) The thunder balogun story was another matter. he had killed people with shots from his left leg so he swore never to use it. On this particular day they were losing and the golakeeper was his brother i thinkthe witness also added that the govt used to use the thunder balogun for demolition of buildings. |
most of us need to watch ourselves o. the level of moral decadence in this world is leading people to accept vices as virtues. even if we fornicate, we should still accept that virginity is a virtue. if not for the surprising cases i just learnt from this thread about deaths because of hymen-breakage i would have said those ladies who go to those surgeries need to be ashamed of themselves. However, like someone put it, don't marry the hymen. virgin girl does not translate to good girl especially if the virginity was not kept on moral or religious grounds. i hear some girls keep their pus** for their husbands sake. for me that's doing the right thing for the wrong reasons i am not searching for a virgin to marry but a good, moral, decent and God fearing lady. However, i would say thumbs up to all virgins who kept their privates private for the right reasons. |
Thanks a bunch. Mustay |
a vendor that sells and implements microsoft office sharepoint solutions. |
thanks mustay and getchineye. i would register him for cat first so that how would get some experience. Do synergy and wyse have CAT lectures? |
he doesn't even need exemptions. he has no degree, OND, HND etc. he just got admission to university. i really wanted to know if he could take the professional exams (F1) as opposed to taking CAT first. |
somebody told me a bachelors degree is needed except through mature students entry route. My brother isn't up to 21 and doesn't have his degree. i wanted to know if he can register for acca professional as opposed to doing CAT |
