what buhari is trying to do is clean up the age long tradition of corrupt funding of elections. This is exactly who buhari is. He hates corruption, he may allow or ignore it sometimes bt in his mind he's totally aware and hates it.

Buhari is trying to clean up the mess and improve the democratic systems not let it continue to ruin the country. even if it was his own candidate he will still want a free and fair election I think.

Jonathan despite the corrupt election funding in both sides still tried to ensure a free abd fair elections to some degree bt buhari who witnessed the level of corruption during elections wants to stop that.

You don’t throw away the dirty water with the baby after washing the baby in the tub. The unintended consequences of this policy will greatly affect the economy.
There is always a better option when things are well thought out. At this point in time where most countries are grappling with high inflation, layoffs and the effects of Covid, countries must be careful not to tip their economy.
Whether it is true that the policy would prevent vote buying remain to be seen.

For days now, concerned people have been asking how fictitious names and non existent names were listed as killed in Lekki, they are playing the ostrich yet pushing same over recycled narrative in the exact pattern that made people doubt their story and hold that no one died in the Lekki incident . The more they continue to play to the gallery, the more they will be exposed as liars. You say/write one lie, you will need more lies to cover it.

If you repeat a lie one billion times still won't make it the truth. Who are the real people who died in Lekki? Where are their families, friends, colleagues, pastors,imams, spouses etc?
We have heard and read the CCTV story over and over again and that's why we want real answers so the culprits can be punished.

It is completely unacceptable that those claimed to be dead are fictitious and some died in 2019. What kind of panel does that anywhere in the world? Whether it is the petitioner(s) or/and the panel members that lied on oath, we need answers. The panel members must be vigorously investigated with same vigour as finding if there are real casualties in Lekki and their identities.
