all right ajadrage, i think the cost of producing the animated features depend on the story, method(2d or 3d), skills, quality and other factors like labour and time.

from the way u re talking, its like u're really interested in producing an animated film. i've some ideas for both animation and other films. i am already working on some scripts.

i feel u so much. i am aspiring to be the steven spielberg of nigeria. someone that will make films that will educate, inform and also entertain. nollywood is bad, but i have stopped doing the blame game. many of the so-called producers and directors are not literates and skilled, so they just sleep and dream of something withiut giving i much tot and research.

i am determined to influence and make a big impact in the film and also tv industry in nigeria and africa.

i am ready to work with anyone who is serious and determined.

i was just curious about the new wave of graphics and visual effects on nigerian tv. starting from soundcity to evry station on tv(in lagos), i think they are all improving in their quality and graphics.

i dont know if any of you guys is involved in these or know the people behind the mad graphics on tv. i would like to meet them.

i am an animator, although not perfect yet i can assist you in the learning process.
i work with mostly maya and 3dmax. i also work with photoshop, after effects and premiere

i believe the major problem in our homevideo is the storyline. this is because many of those involved in producing, financing and even directing are illiterates and uneducated. directors, scriptwriters and producers are supposed to carry out researches and take time to bring out quality.

i believe another problem is greed. the producers are so eager 2 make their money that they produce substandard.

hello nairalanders, i just want to share the pains and sorrow i go thru when i try to watch naija movies. first and foremost, i think the major problem in the movie industry in nigeria is the weak and lame story lines and screenplays. i am not an expert in this, but i believe nigerians involved in writing storries and scripts should spend more time and effort, even carry out researches before producing movies.

we realise that most movies we see in nigeria have the same storylines, e.g a group of girls who go about doing crazy things, some involve unrealistic scenes and stories that thave not been thought thru by the scriptwriters, directors and producers.

i admit to the fact that we have good actors and actresses, but they too should try to set a standard in the types of movies they star in. i believe they should be able to make corrections to some of these scripts.

dat advert was crazy. though i strongly oppose alcoholism, i commend them for the advert. another nice advert is that of star which just started showing on channels tv.
