Mamas, I am new here. EDD Aug 10. I am not comfortable with the hospital I am currently using. Can anyone help recommend good hospital for delivery around Ikeja or Surulere area In Lagos? How are other Mamas doing antenatal during this Covid period?

Trying to ready up the trend but I no know where to even start from

That’s how I went for my regular and normal antenatal on Friday 31st then I was 36 weeks and 3days. Trust me I was already tired the whole weight of the babies was something else all together. I went to see doctor ooo and after normal check up and all he decided to check me o, and he was like wow that my womb is open alrdy and 2cm dilated, after which he swept my membrane and it became 3cm dilated.
I went back home, I had not gotten home before I began to feel mild cramps, I was thinking maybe it’s the intrusion that caused this one now. Before I knew it, it was increasing I laid down I was still feeling it. It was coming and going but there would be some positions I would be in it would stop. So I went about doing normal things oo this was happening around past 3. When it was around 9 or there about i stood up and saw mucus mixed with blood, I just told my husband to abeg take me to hospital o. The doctor checked me and I was still 3cm and advised I took a bed Incase it became worse in the night.
At night this pain became intolerable, I couldn’t sleep all through the night come and see pain, then in d morning I was checked I was around 4cm I wanted to shout I said 1cm since. I said no problem oo. That’s how I thought I would give birth to a first feb baby
Well to cut the whole story short I was in pain, because the contractions became very strong and I was dilating really slow. That’s how I was in serious pains till the next morning ooo, haaa I was shouting ehn because I could not take it anymore ooo even hubby was tired he kept telling me to just hold on it would soon be over. I am sure I almost brought down the whole hospital with my voice .
Before you know it I became fully dilated and the cervix that was holding my baby’s head which prevented me from pushing gave way this happened by 4:30
Ok oo let us now push and bring out baby, contraction disappeared, contractions that have been dealing with me since Jan 31st just decided to leave me I said what is all this now. That’s how we sha sha did and I pushed out the first baby and 2nd baby too was brought out. It was a really successful vagina delivery and I am really grateful to God for his mercy.

I bring to this house good tidings! To the glory of the most high God, My triplets have made their grand entrance. EDD - 14th March. DOB - 29th January.
It's 2 BBBs & 1 BBG.
BS:
It was a stress free pregnancy. No sickness, no case of emergency etc. Even at my last antenatal visit (ie) @ 33wks, my doctor told me that he is so surprised that with triplets pregnancy I was still able to come from home without issues. He said that all the triplets pregnancy he has managed before now are always admitted in the hospital btw wk 27 & 30 because of one issue or another.
My colleagues as well talks abt my flexibility. Everyone keeps admiring my flexibility.
The nurses also keeps praising my agility.
So I was scheduled for elective CS on 29th of Jan at exactly 34wks. Was taken to the theatre @ 8 am for the surgery. Regional anesthesia was administered two times but all to no effect. Then the anesthesiologist decided to administer the general anesthesia. Na so una sister was knocked out only to woke up hearing the screams of her triplets trying to shut down the hospital.
My joy knows no bound as DH's face was covered with tears of joy. We are all in good & perfect conditions.
It's a thing of joy having four babies in two pregnancy journey. It's a complete family with 2 boys & 2 girls offsprings.
Boots hung up for all the GTC mums out there. My testimony is infectious & will infect all GTC mums.
My able march cappo @ Mzleemah & all my march teamies, na so una sister take port to January ooooo.

Yea it’s white soup.. naaa they are different. Yea you can take nsala but heard pepper soup is a no no because of some of the ingredients they use. If you go to market all those women know the ones not to give to you though

I tried to have it some time ago, the woman I wanted to buy Peppersoup ingredients from refused to sell to me. She said it’s not good for preggers. A mama here also made mention of some spices used in making pepper soup that are not good for us. So please endure for now.

I also have the craving, but I’m channeling it till after delivery. My mum already brought in her special mortar both big and small to my house. Don’t worry mama, you will soon get tired of eating it.

Team July here...I ate unripe pawpaw 2days ago and it made me vomit and vomit till my throat started hurting me..but I'm much better now.i haven't registered for antenatal yet.still feel tired and exhausted after small work. in all I give God all the glory..

Lost my DS this morning, 16weeks and 4 days. Been admitted in the hospital since Saturday after continuous pain all through the night. Doc suspecting fibroid degeneration as that was what they were treating for. Looking back now, I guess all the constant pains were red flags . Signing out, team July

Modified: as a first timer, what do I need to do to heal faster, the fibroid pain is still there,..

Please o, i need tips on how to add weight biko. My weight has not changed since I became pregnant, I have always weighed 56kg, my last appointment i weigh the same and I'm 14weeks.
I have been eating very well and no MS since I became pregnant, what's happening o.

I don’t think it’s something you should be really worried about. You would still add. I added 10kg and i am 33 weeks now and that 10kg was so slow, some times for 6 8 weeks I am same. As long as your baby is growing fine and doing good, you should be okay

I hope we have packed our hospital bag, very important. Even if you haven't finished shopping, pack the ones you have gotten and then you'd know it's just to throw in the remaining ones when you get them.
